MLP:FiM - "The Washouts"

This episode will be officially released September 8th, 2018.  It is the 20th episode of season 8 and the 189th overall.  The episode is written by Nick Confalone.

SYNOPSIS: Scootaloo becomes obsessed with the Washouts, a team of stunt performers, leading Rainbow Dash to fear that she may lose her number-one fan.

I'm wondering if this episode will be a washout or not.  The synopsis does not have me all that excited after last week's knock out awesome episode.  This one has me worried Dash will act foolishly and for selfish reasons.  But I am hoping for the best.

I've got to say, I was surprised with this episode.  Rainbow Dash wasn't horrible or anything.  She learned from her mistakes and Scootaloo did too.  It was a good episode and much better then what I would have thought was going to happen!  8/10.

The fact that the entire scene works well on itdo own it's great,  but the fact it's a wonderful nod to SNL makes it 100× better!

I feel like its moral fell rather flat and Dash's motives were all over the place twisty tangly but the fact that she actually has motives is good
Rainbow cares about scootaloo's well being for reasons other than the being Rainbow Dash's biggest fan thing yay

Lightning dust was neat. i forgot wonderbolt academy's plot completely but i liked how she was written

Anyone else think Spitfire's scene was really strange?  I did.  It was the worst part of the episode to me.  Her voice didn't sound right and it seemed strained and just all wrong.  She did have the voice to be yelling.

But the episode was pretty good overall. I think it was great how conflicted Dash was, even calling out she could be selfish... or not.  But it finally rooted down to the fact that she was concerned and worried for Scoots.  I am glad that was the basis and overall the core.

It was great!  I felt the Scoots fan club at the end was silly and un-needed, but overall, great episode.  Much better then I was fearing.  8/10.
