Israel was attacked on land, sea, and water during a Jewish Holiday by Hamas.  Reportedly over 300 people were killed, over a 1,000 injured from 3,000 Hamas missiles coming from the Gaza Strip.  They took over 50 Israeli hostages.  Israel declared war on Hamas.  Through the night, strike forces moved into the Gaza Strip and reports are dozens of hostages have been saved by Israeli forces.  Now we are getting reports that Hezbollah is attacking Israel from the Golan Heights.

This is so terrible, I have no words for it.

I know we all expected this, but Iran was involved in the planning and funding of Hamas' attack.  Now the US is sending a Strike Force group to the region, and may send one to the Persian Gulf. 

The US is going to be spread thin, which is what enemies want.  Russia vs. Ukraine.  Now the Middle east vs. Israel.

Will China make a move on Taiwan or something else while the US is preoccupied with so many different things and a dysfunctional government? 

US politicians have shown support with Israel but a vocal portion of Democrats are against the Israeli's....

All in all, this is horrible.  Weak US leadership leads to these situations.

^ Everything coming together at once has me worried.  All the missteps we are seeing, and how they will turn into something big in the future.  I hope we don't have things get worse, but we can look back on all the choices being made years in advance.  Reports now say as many as 700 Israeli's were killed by Hamas terrorists.

Praying for all the people involved and that peace can come.
