Random fact, did you guys know SCS secretly keeps updating the prices for fuel in ATS but not in ETS2?  So right now the prices are very high in the game...  They apparently update the prices when big price changes occur and with game updates.  Talk about dedication, lol!

State $$ per gallon in game / Current Day Real Price
CALIFORNIA $6.35 / $5.45
WASHINGTON $5.54 / $4.82
OREGON $5.42 / $4.82
NEVADA $5.31 / $4.99
IDAHO $5.15 / $4.27
UTAH $5.15 / $4.06
ARIZONA $5.05 / $4.25
MONTANA $5.04 / $3.86
WYOMING $5.03 / $3.69
NEW MEXICO $5.02 / $3.53
COLORADO $4.88 / $3.49

So the rumors spreading on the SCS forum are of new trucks.

For ATS the most speculated trucks are the new Volvo VNL and Western Star 5700X (which seems odd to have after we just got their new truck) or a new PACCAR truck to come with the Peterbilt facility in Texas...

For ETS2... well... there is no real evidence right now for anything unlike in ATS.  The forum is more or less devolved into just making wishlists.  The most common names I see are Ford F-MAX, MAN TGX 2020, and the Actros 2021.  Also a decent amount wanting new Volvo and IVECO products.  But again, there is no evidence to any of these, just people wishing.

Luckily, with current price per distance we may not worry about the fuel ;D.

I'm happy with anything honestly. ;D  I won't whine.  I love the new truck we have gotten recently.

As usual, the length of community goal is increased (this time it’s 125 million miles) although I believe it could be completed even faster than Montana event ;D.
That lizard looks cool 8), also, for some reason the color of the star from other reward reminds me the Aetherial Crown.

My minds keeps telling me the DLC is many days away... but it's not!!! So this is a nice surprise for once.  Usually I am waiting for the big release.

It is still very strange to me they choose an early week release instead of a end-weekday release when people have more time to play it.  I am thinking this has something to do with the big Autumn Steam Sale coming on the 22nd. This way they have a week as top billing and advertising on Steam's front page instead of being buried with sales during the Steam Sale.

I know it's not very money-wise, but I am still going to buy it immediately after release.

Same with me.  No question.  I am curious as to what the price will be.

Nice start, @Wolfwood.  I tried to find them a bit more accurately.  I just realized they are actually allowing us to drive into the "BAD PART" or Austin.  Granted, it's not THAT bad, because overall the city is pretty new, but it's the less desirable part, and you might see homelessness.  It is opposite of downtown, with the freeway bridge sort of being the dividing line shown below.  Real and in-game angles.

So this first image above, we are actually in the "bad" part of Austin looking towards the downtown area.  I'm not quite sure what delivery they would have us do here unless it's a road to access downtown.  This part of the city is being redeveloped so there are a lot of empty lots and in their place they are building urban condos and apartments, mixed developments of housing and commercial.  So it won't be the "bad" part of town for long when they further displace people for new development.  I am curious how they will represent it in the game.  They already make it look better than it is.

This second set of images above, the game removed two full bridges.  There are actually five bridges in this space, two heading in each direction and a foot bridge.  it appears the game only has the freeway bridges and the footpath, and not the smaller road bridges.  Actaully they did include all the bridges and they might all be drivable! If we can access this side road which they are showing, it would lead to the intersection in the first set of images. The city skyline is also compacted.

It appears they may have boosted the Texas Capitol Building so we would see it and removed the brown arena building. This one might not be exact, but I tried to find it.

So this is where all the deep analytical posts go on this forum.  You put all your effort into this topic. ;D  I get it now...

Maybe we should just convert PSF to a Trucking Sim community.
