So, since this year has almost ended, all roads are discovered at least in one direction and the reward for one delivery in ETS has almost reached 400k Euros (394, for hauling a helicopter from Faro to Kunda), it’s time for me to close this year’s profile.
I see, this year I preffered to make shorter rides, if compare with 2021 ;D. And the number of deliveries is exactly the same for both games!
ATS: 182 hours played, 128 in-game days, 225 deliveries, 141 000 miles, Level 64, 87.15% of map discovered, 13 garages, 61 trucks, 85 trailers.
ETS: 183 hours played, 153 in-game days, 225 deliveries, 202 000 km 125 500 miles, Level 62, 84.32% of map discovered, 13 garages, 62 trucks, 86 trailers.
The percentage of discovered roads in ATS is a bit lower than last year, but... it could not be otherwise with such growth of the map size!
So, this is it. WS 5700XE, the next ATS truck, is likely to be one of my first trucks bought for the next year’s profile, if its release will be no later than in February. ;D.

I find it fascinating how similar they are and how you played pretty much the same hours, yet you had so many more in-day games in ETS2, yet managed the same amount of deliveries, but more miles in ATS. ;D  How were you so even among both games?!  ^b-

Love both the green and blue trucks there!  I see they are hauling some very seasonal loads of  xmas^^!

Well, I played until roughly the same number of trucks will be reached, but almost the same number of playing hours and deliveries is just a coincidence. Last year the number of deliveries was different despite the playing hours were similar. As for miles and in-game hours — if I didn’t use long route ferries in ETS, the number of in-game hours could be lower, and the number of hours played by me — higher. Mostly it’s due to ferry from Helsinki to Travemunde, which makes some long deliveries 70-80 minutes shorter for me. ATS map has a bit faster highways, and those super short ferries don’t play a significant role ;D.
I see they are hauling some very seasonal loads of  xmas^^!
Hmmm... I think using the olive trees (notice how big they are if compare with American cargo) as a base for Christmas decoration may be a good idea, but it also may look as some dumb stereotypes like «they are Italians, so every meal must consist of pizza and pasta» ::|.
Many have wished for this and now it is CONFIRMED.  We're going to the arctic!!! (Hopefully)
I like this idea to make cut-outs from the streams ;D. So, if these photos from Scandinavian countries are dedicated to expanding the map, not remaking, it’s pretty cool. Of course, northern parts of these countries are not riddled with freeways as Spain or Germany (a big part of Norway has just one big highway, named E6), so, most of the roads will be narrow and slow. And... maybe after that the developers will be finally pushed into adding the seasons in the game. This task must be more difficult than any rework of sound or lighting system, plus, I think adapting their game engine to work properly with multi-core processors must be one of primary tasks.

I like the statistics.  I wish I new my stats but I play profiles longer then 365 days.

Olive Trees would make a good Christmas tree too!  It would provide you with delicious olives!  :D

I am so excited for a Northern Scandinavia update!  I am all for smaller, rural, remote areas!  I mean how cool would it be to drive in truly remote territory?  Drive through the Swedish 'Alps' through Ostersund and go into Norway!  Then drive to Tromso! From Tromso you got to delivery goods to Vardo!!! I mean that would be so awesome if we could drive so far north, we see the Barents Sea.

If they ever release HoR, it would be cool to see a northern Russia and northern Finland expansion to have this whole region complete.

Appreicate and love you guys.... but HOW do we miss so much info from a big ass long stream?  Ya'll have shared great info including new map expansions and trucks, yet we missed this.

This channel, AP 101 Gaming is doing God's work (related to a trucking sim game).

6 new trucks planned for ATS, at least 2 in 2023.  They also sent crews to Washington's PACCAR facility again to get info on all the new Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks, including monitoring, sounds, and blueprints. They are also going to redo the old trucks in ATS to have them be super high quality starting with the Kenworth W900.  There is also a Kenworth/W900 tuning DLC pack coming soon.

The upcoming trucks are...

Western Star 5700XE
Volvo VNL
Kenworth W900 rebuild
Kenworth T680 Next-Gen
Peterbilt 579 Next-Gen
Peterbilt 389X
Kenworth W990

Come on, we didn’t talk about these trucks not because we missed them, but just because these updates were not so much interesting for us ;D.
I have only mentioned the 5700XE because that was a surprise to introduce the truck after its successor. New Volvo and Paccar trucks are the logical successors of the existing models, so their introduction was something natural.

Six more new trucks in ATS, rebuilding old trucks in ETS2 and ATS, new Kenworth DLC, Expansion northward in Norway and Sweden, Kanas and Oklahoma DLC being worked on simultaneously, Switzerland rebuild, HOW is this not of much interest to you guys?!  Lol!

When they don't make SCS blog posts, we have a much lesser track record of finding this stuff.  AP 101 Gaming does do a great job, so if we miss stuff, just watch their channel. ;D It's been well known though that the SCS Christmas stream is always the news-packed stream of the year. Pavel is a wealth of information.  He feels generous at this time of year.

More new content — good, but it’s a normal growth of the game. We already got used to it, thanks to SCS.
Older truck after newer one — WHAAAT??? ;D

I'd prefer to just get info from one place, but I understand.  I'm sort of just joking around with everyone.  I DON'T expect everyone to see everything and post it here, lol.

The Christmas Streams have been awesome the past 2 years at least with all the info they have.  Alex just shouldn't have that Santa filter on, it's creepy as heck.
