When the Washington DLC was being made, I thought they were going to include this location, but I was shocked they didn't upon release.  It will nice to see some current design standards in this "old" DLC.  I cannot wait to drive around.

How much you want to bet the easter egg is the new PACCAR trucks parked at the facility?

The daily posting marathon continues!
Krone works on the powered trailer with electric motors, but for now we can only try the paintjob of the testing vehicle, the motors themselves will probably be added much later ;D. So, it may be an acceptable idea to make a hybrid vehicle based on an ordinary truck with an electrified trailer — charge the batteries on descents, use the extra power on climbs... and if you attach the electrified trailer to a natural gas-powered truck, you got the double eco vehicle! ;D However... it means there will be more batteries on the road... At least I believe the LiFePo4 batteries will finally replace the older Li-Ion ones, and there will be no more scary videos with fires.

P.S. Today was a stream from the developers with a delivery to Slovenia. As they said, there was a rain recently and... judging from the dialogues, they had some forum-related content in their office ;D.

I'm gonna race my trucks NASCAR style around the PACCAR testing facility!!!!!

We need to post the stream when it's available on YT for the Slovenia content.

So, this time the tasks can be taken either for new DLC or for Road to Black Sea DLC. But... of course, it doesn’t mean you don’t need to buy the Western Balkans ;D.
The community goal is 300 000 000 kilometers — the long waiting of the new ETS DLC makes me believe it can be reached as fast as 178 000 000 km for Oklahoma.

Alaskan Road Truckers Releases On Steam

Steam Page

Upon release, there is a Day One DLC.  The game price is $30USD, but the day one discount lowers it to $19.  With the DLC the price increased by a dollar to $20. The Day one DLC is called, Alaskan Road Truckers: Mother Truckers Edition.  It is all visual additions and extra ornaments and clothing. Most reviews say the game is unoptimized and filled with bugs.  It will be interesting if the devs stick around to make fixes. Other reviews say the game is "amazing" to "solid." People enjoy the survival mechanic and the more in-depth management than in other Trucking Sim games. I think we all saw this coming to mixed reviews.

We got a trucking event and a new game releasing on the same day!  Going to be busy.  As for Alaskan Road Trucks (ART) I am going to wait for a big, steep price drop.  Unless they do something amazing, nothing about the gameplay looks interesting to me.  The world layout seems amateurish as best.  They have some neat ideas though.  Optimization looked bad in the demos, so hopefully they iron this out.

Yeah, ART was in for an uphill battle to begin with.  Same with the new "Truck Driver 2" game coming out.

I'm so excited for the event and the new DLC!!!

I will wait on the Alaskan truck game.  If they devs actually stick around and try to build up the game, that is one thing, but I don't have high hopes on that.

So many connections with other countries!

My first deliveries will be made from Bulgaria to the south of Albania (I hope I will found these famous bunkers! ;D), and then along the coastal road to Trieste. It must be very screenshot-appealing area.
