Hinting at a future tuning pack maybe?

What even was the last Tuning Pack?  It wasn't DAF was it?  Was it Kenworth? I don't even remember at this point.  What I am trying to say though is I like the tuning packs!

The latest tuning pack for ETS (Renault T) was released in May '22, the only ATS tuning pack is from August '23.
It's a super rare kind of DLC, more rare than map expansions. ;D

We need more tuning packs in general.

Only two blog posts left for Missouri.  Means we will see the open beta probably at the start of March or the very end of February?

This beta is pretty small, so the biggest addition is the upcoming state, which is already highlighted on the map:

As for the new cargo system — I have checked several trailers and cargoes, and something still is in progress (some cargoes have even smaller load, and Mooring Buoy is just invisible on a single flatbed ;D), while some cargoes were really improved: the Empty Pallets now fill the whole length of 53' trailer, and Aircraft Engines load is doubled — in 1.54 there are four of them on one 53' instead of two. Some smaller cargoes are arranged more tightly (more Clamshell Buckets in one load, or two Reservoir Tanks on 53' instead of just one for all trailers), and there are more attention to axles number — we have 9 thicc Concrete Tubes for 53' with two axles, and 10 with more.
Another improvement of truck adjustment menu makes it look more intuitive and more convenient for console controller users — as with the reworked main menu, PC users will need to make a little more mouse clicks (I remember how I hated the Navigation>Map sequence instead of just clicking on Map button ;D).
Switching to PhysX (oh, I remember a lot of talking about it... in 2011-2012 ;D) must be just one of steps towards the updated truck physics, but I think some part of beta testing will include its adjustment as well as finishing the load system, so I don’t expect the release earlier than two weeks, plus an extra week before the Missouri DLC.

You haven't driven much of the new state's young man.  You somehow strangely went on all the weirdest roads around Missouri. ;D

I have an excuse — only 42 hours spent in this year’s profile, and I started in Seattle ;D.
Also, I forgot to mention they still didn’t complete new Kenworth T680. I still have one free slot in my garage, but something tells me it will be occupied by something else.

I will let that slide just this one time. ;)

Since there are no ETS map expansions for 1.54, we have no exclusive stuff in this patch (well, at least you can attend the Driving Academy using the freshly added trucks). Of course, since European trailers don’t have so much length options, the cargo system must be easier to adjust and test ;D.

Beta's are out! :D It won't be long.

I wonder how long till the next ETS2 map update though. Both reworks seem like they are far away from being done.  Nordic Horizon rework areas and the Benelux.

Looks like no new filling station brands for now. This kind of screenshot packs could be interesting in searching for teasers of new trucks or trailers... several years ago, when we didn’t have the full set of trailer types and truck brands. Now I can say I am more interested in new map expansions, the current number of vehicles is totally enough for me ;D. I would more like to see the tuning for existing trucks and trailers than adding more new trucks, especially when they are underpowered if compare with their previous generations.

I agree, I am happy with the truck options in both games.  But that won't stop me ever from saying add more, especially classic trucks and trailers if possible.  But the main thing that has me coming back is the ever expanding trucking world.

Nice update. :)  We are really close to some new content. :D  I am pretty excited.  So I'd say early/mid March... maybe between March 11-18.

So, what else truck didn’t have a walk-around video? ;D
Also, I have noticed an interesting locomotive in Vigo.

As far as I am concerned, every truck in a video needs to be in the game.  So we need more classic trucks!!

What is that pink locomotive?  Is it a texture issue?
