At least we see here that the team is working with the new Kenworth and Peterbilt products.

People can never just be happy. I am more than happy with EVERYTHING this game has been giving us over the years.  I can't think of any other company that is this active, especially one comparatively sized.

I know they've been doing a lot of sound capturing, they did so in the past at the PACCAR training area, but they never implemented the sounds I don't think.

P.S. That teepee must surely be a decoration, although Wikipedia says Saami people used the similar huts ages ago.

Finland is looking nice. Fun fact, there is a man-made lake in Finland shaped like Finland.

^I believe Colorado and Wyoming have a lot of ponds and swimming pools shaped like those states .

What the car-sized engine sound means? I expect just the complete rework of traffic sounds, but video has comments about user-available smaller vehicles.
Let’s see what AP 101 Gaming channel will say .

Timmy had a good idea about traffic sounds, and that is very possible.  But it would be a huge let-down to the community unless it was combined with a complete re-work of the AI to be doing more unique movements that would require these sounds.

Also, I am not sure the player will have enough free time to listen to the sounds of neighbour cars .

I do think it is something related to us the player directly. 

I don't want to overly speculate and over-hype, but it's hard not too.  I do think this is something currently specific to ATS.  I doubt this is an ETS2 noise, but I do believe rigid trucks in ETS2 will be a possibility someday.

Back to the sound, I guess the game was never called American SEMI Truck Simulator... just American Truck Simulator. It is possible we might get a pickup . . . for some reason? Maybe to freely drive around the world or haul smaller things if we choose too.

The ATS world definitely has some locations worth to drive there just to watch and make photos .
Also, the pickup truck could finally be an adequate transport for some cargoes (like Plows) which look too small for using the Class 8 trucks.
(BTW, 1.54 Beta has the reworked Plows — they are bigger and heavier)

I think a pickup would be a great extra vehicle to buy for the game and perfect for rural farm related tows.  Sometimes you don't have time for a long drive and a pickup would be perfect for a shorter one.

But if there was a pickup in the game . . . would it be a real truck or a fake one?  Did Ram, Ford, or Chevy ask to be a part of the game? This would be a huge moment for SCS.

I was examining the SCS Forums to see what people thought those new sounds were. 

The ETS board didn't even talk about it or have a topic related to the new engine noises, which leads me to believe they assume it is ATS related. 

The ATS boards did have a topic on it with lot's of ideas about what it could be. It is all in their, "Non-Semi Trucks (Buses, Cars, Vans) Speculation/Discussion Thread."  They seem pretty confident it is something non semi-truck related. Many think it is Ai sound, but some are thinking SCS figured out how to do procedural engine sound that will actually calculate how an engine sounds under different situations.

Many are also pretty certain the engine noise is a Hemi V8, from either a Dodge product or a Ram truck.
