As my title describes I had a real scare today while visiting my parents house.  I spent most of the day with them, just hanging out.  While I was there I went up to my old bedroom to lie down for a little while and relax.  There really is something to be said about going to the bedroom you grew up in that makes you feel safe.  Or at least it normally does for me.
While I was up there I thought about going back into my secret drawing studio in the back of my attic and looking at some of my old Scooby Doo artwork just for old times sake but decided not to risk it.  My bedroom is on the third floor of my parents house.  My father figured that it must have been the attic before the previous owners updated it to another bedroom.  Just like Greg Brady had in the later episodes of the Brady Bunch :)).  Being that high up I can normally hear them coming in plenty of time to hide any Sneeze fetish related thing I might have been doing in the old days but today I didn't feel like risking it.  Instead I decided to go through some of the many boxes and tupperware totes I had stacked up in my old closet.  I had just started on the first box when my mother joined me for a little bit.  We laughted as we looked through one of my old  photo albums and then she went back down stairs to start dinner, all excited because I had decided to stay and eat with them.  Anyway, I open a second box and was suddenly so excited because inside I had some of my photography projects I remembered doing in junior high school.  I was only down about a tenth of the way into the box when suddenly I saw these old sneezy Scooby Doo drawings looking back at me :o.  There was four old drawings in total but I'm only posting 2 of them for now.  If you want to see the other 2 please let me know :) .

What was so scary about this is that I always thought for the most part I was always extra careful with my drawings.  I honestly don't know how these ended up in that box and to be honest I thought I had shredded them long ago.  Something I used to do to my old work.  Now I really can't help but to wonder if my parents ever did see anything in the past  .  If they did I wonder what they thought?  Did they think I would or did grow out of it?  I can't stop thinking about it.  Who know's maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing.  I know that I would never have the nerve to tell them myself.

Anyway, here are the drawings and an explanation of each one.

As you can tell by the paper this was a very old drawing of mine.  I remember that it was the very first time I had ever drawn a multi panel comic.  In it Scooby Doo was trying to hide (of course!) under some old boxes.  What he didn't know was that the box over his head was filled with pepper.  As he heard people heading his way suddenly he is found by a beautiful woman.  Instead of telling the others ware he was she decided to give him a fighting chance but first she took out a switch blade and stuck the point of the blade into the box right over Scooby's head causing a stream of pepper to spill out all over his big black nose HEE, HEE!

In this one Scooby Doo is hiding behind a large box yet again when suddenly another woman comes walking up and sit down right in front of him.  Scooby breathes a sigh of relief but suddenly he notices the box he is hiding behind is filled with red roses and the roses start to drive his allergies crazy ;D.  If that wasn't bad enough some of the woman's hair (which had feathers in it) finds Scooby Doo's hind foot and it starts to tickle his toes  :-] .

Oh, some old treasures - thanks for sharing them, @Daphine ! Although they are a little bit hard to see I can tell they are both very good; I especially like the fourth panel in the first one, the sneezy release...  ^-^
Yes, please share the other drawings as well!  :)

I can imagine it must have been a bit of a shock to find the drawings in your parents' house in a box that was not locked!... But luckily, it seems to have gone well, and your treasures stayed safe.  ;)

Thanks for sharing some of your old work.  I enjoy hearing the stories because I can relate to them even if I didn't do what you did... but it's that underlying fear or being found out.  It's funny, because it is rather innocent and more embarrassing, like how would you explain a sneeze fetish?  We talk about it like we are hiding some hardcore drugs or something.  lol.

OOooooOOOoooooohhh!  Scary!  I would certainly hope no one went through your stuff and put it there?  Naw, I'm just being alarmist.  But I had those same fears.  Very scary and thanks for sharing your art too.  You opening up and sharing all this bring back many memories.

Scary tense moments you shared. Those moments of uncertainty are the scariest part.  Did someone access them?  You will never know... scary.

Thank you as always kiku, your always so supportive.  I did my best to edit the drawings to bring the color out better still in the end that was the best I could do.  I'm glad you liked the last panel in the first comic.  Scooby Doo's sneezy release ;D
Thank god my parents are as slow at cleaning out my old room as I am :).  Still it got me thinking, what if?

Thank you Wolfwood for taking the time to look at me old artwork, I hope you enjoyed it?
Mostly thank you for saying what you said!  You are so right, is our fetish that big a deal?  That is a question I have asked myself in the past.  I have mentioned before about how when I first found out that my interest in sneezing was considered a fetish how it really scared me :'( .  I always thought that a fetish was something really bad.  Like you said it is really more embarrassing than anything else.  I remember wondering what my ex-boyfriend would have thought if I had the courage to tell him :( .  Would he have thought it was really sick & weird or would he have thought it was cute?  In the end you are right, it's not like we are hiding a drug addiction or something.  Thank you for your great and thought provoking comment :).

Thank you Rainberry, I have to admit reading your comment had me freaked out for a moment :-0.  How did those drawings end up there?  I honestly don't remember putting them there but like I said I hadn't seen them in year's and thought they were long gone.  Let's just hope that it was just because of my own stupidity and not because someone was going through my private things.

Right you are RainySunshine, VERY scary!  I have kept wondering how they ended up in there or even worse had I done that before!  If I went through the rest of the box's in my old closet or if I went through my old bedroom what might I find?  My parents are going away for a couple of weeks in April and I plan on going back to there house and really go through my old bedroom & drawing studio in my part of the attic just to make sure!  I only wonder if I can wait till then?  When ever I think about it I get more freaked out :(.

The thing is, you know... If we try to look at our artwork or stories - in this case, your Scooby drawings - from the point of view of someone who has no clue about the sneeze fetish, it probably is no big deal at all. If I didn't know what a sneeze fetish is, I would just see a drawing of Scooby Doo (or a dog, if I didn't know or recognize the cartoon character) with a runny nose who sneezes in the end. I'm sure I would think, "OK, this is well drawn, although I don't get why the object in the drawing is a sniffly dog... oh well." And then I would shrug, put it away and go on with whatever I'm doing.
So, I suppose, even if your parents did find the drawings, they most probably wouldn't think much about it. After all, kids do strange things sometimes.  ;)

Still, I agree it's safer to lock the drawings away in the long run.

Close call.  Imagine if you would have chosen that box to look through with your Mom and you stumbled upon those?  Yikes!
