Cheap 3D was surely one of the reasons why the sneezes in G5 were more lame than in G4 (aren’t you agree that it was the small, but important part of the show?)

^ It was important.  3D can't show the nuances of a good sneeze, at least the cheap 3D.

I don't think the 3D of G5 was bad, it's just that the 2D of G4 was so good and kept getting better and better.

Well, 3D in G5 was not the worst 3D ever, there are much much worse examples... which are bad not only because of low budget, but also because the people doing it just didn’t care .

I would love to see them go back to a G4 style, but I just don't see it happening anymore.  I don't know if they think kids even want to see 2D anymore. They are of the mindset that everything has to be CGI.

MLP is a series that does unexpected things.

Gen 3 looks WAY different than Gen 4, and Gen 5 is also way different looking than Gen 4.

I do not know what the future has, but I want to be hopeful. I do want the series to go to a new style that is not CGI. I think it'd be fun to have a 2D style make a return.

That's true actually.  Each generation, well the last three, have all been wildly different in design.  I am sure that will be the case again.

Good point.  It could very well be e completely different.  I just hope they don't go further towards a G1/G2/G3 style.  I do think it will be CGI again though.

I fully expect a grainy image of some sort to be the tip of the iceberg that leads to mass speculation!

I agree with all of this.  It does seem likely.  We've had leaks in the past.  Usually some display or toy being sold in Asia.

Hasbro has an annual meeting where they announce stuff right, or at least earnings calls.  We got that to look forward to as well as it can be filled with tidbits of information!

Seems like a likely time.  When they have those earnings calls, it's usually how we get big hints.
