I got one more story, but this one wasn't me, so it is kind of cheating.

It was snowing and all the kids in the neighborhood went to the big hill.  One kid had a inner tube thing and slid down, aimed poorly, and slide directly into and under a parked car.  They messed up their knee very badly and you could see the top of their knee-cap bone, as the skin and everything had ripped off.  They were not crying, but they were seething in pain and were taken to the hospital.  They were okay. :)

Definitely a lot more painful had that happened. I got some weird friction burn from the chain somehow on one of my legs.

Holy crap that sounds wicked painful!! Eeek, bones all messed up is just the worst.

I just remembered another painful experience. It was the day I learned the harsh lesson of never rush while shaving. *shudder* seeing a whole sliver of your skin come off was definitely as horrifying as it was painful.

Ooohhh.  I know your other stories were worse, but that one just... yuck!!!

One of my more painful incidents was trying to go down a very steep mountain incline, and I lost my footing and slide/skidded/rolled/tumbled all the way down the dirt, rock, and brush to the bottom of this incline.  I hit a few tree's on the way down, and when I finally reached the bottom I was badly bruised and totally wrecked my wrist.  My stomach hurt and I am sure I bruised some ribs.  Everything was okay though.

OUCH. O_O

I have one that happened on a bicycle too. I was zooming down a small hill or whatever, and then there's this ramp in front of me. Go figure why, but I didn't turn or anything (even though I saw it coming 25 meters from there :o), and just like LP, I took it, went airborne, and landed on the ground before my bike fell on top of me. I just had a few scratches.

Are ramps really that hard to take on a bike?  I really don't know, just asking.

Some pretty painful things here.  :)  Nice we can look back on most of these without any damage still remaining.

The ramp I took was strangely made of dirt. :o I have no idea if it was made by someone or by itself for some reason (the earth is alive!), but I do know it's quite hard to take that kind of ramp and not crash upon landing. Otherwise, I don't think they're very hard to take. ;)
Then again, that was the only ramp I'd taken in my life, so who am I to say that...

Anyone ever slam a door on their finger?  Yeah.  I've done that.  Car door, house door, you name the door, it probably happened.
