So ... um.  In terms of splitting up that big, beautiful, list.  I think breaking it down by alphabetical name is good, but so is the character idea.  We have open links already not leading to the characters names, and I feel they were made for a reason early on that way, to eventually link to character pages.

See here's the thing. If we suddenly just split up the list to be character pages, the base huge list has no reason to exist. And would just be a list of names for people to click on.

However, I was thinking of making sub pages in the page where the list already exists and splitting it into perhaps A-H, I-N, and O-Z. And having links to those shortened lists on the page where the huge list is currently.

I feel we made character pages initially for fandom general consensus of how they sneezed, what were their triggers, and how they got sick and blah blah blah.

I would like to get a good look at the Wiki before we change anything major. As well as asking the community what they would like better, as we'd have to see what's more comfortable and easier for them to use.

So yeah, I like your idea.  I really like how it is one big list now, and how easy it is to update.  In the future, we will have to go to different sections to update it.  But it is better then a massive list I suppose.

You are also not opposed to separate character pages I take it?  It just wouldn't hold the sneeze index for the character, but could be a good starting point with a direct link to the characters "section" on the sneeze list database.  I hope that made sense.

To me the big list now is easiest instead of separate pages. 

But the idea of pages for each character is cool too.  It doesn't need to have all the info that the MLP Wikia has, just base info, maybe a pic, and some sneeze info if it applies to them.  I for some reason like that idea, and it would give the Wikia more depth.  More links to explore.  But we would still make the sneeze database front and center.

Breaking it down would make sense. Just what exactly those gaps in the alphabet are, I will leave to you guys. 

If you make character pages, have them link back to the section of the MLPS where all their stories and art can be found.

The character page would need a direct link to the artwork and story.  Yes.  Whatever else you put on the character pages is up to you guys. 

I'm just saying the easiest is the big list you have now.  I just don't know if it bogs people down with slower internet, or should you even care about that?

The main problem I have with these seperate character pages is pasting their entire sneeze list in there. It doesn't make sense to me. As it would just be repeating information. And I don't know if all that extra stuff to load would slow the wiki down. For me it's already pretty slow. In terms of saving stuff when I edit.

And then there's also, what's the point of having character pages when if you're into ponies and stuff you definitely know who these characters are. I'd vouch for character pages to only be made for characters we have headcanons for in terms of sneezing and such.

The list as it is now is functional, but it's intimidating. It's huge. And long as frick. It's a pain to scroll through, and I feel cutting it into smaller sections would make it easier to scroll through. Especially with characters who have a lot of content, like Rarty and Rainbow Dash.

It is slower to load, but just minor ticks.  I'm sure it is slower to load when you save content.

Cutting the MLPS, mainly the female section, makes sense.  That should be done.  I think it would speed things up.  We would just include new links on the front page with an A-G and H-Q or whatever.

That sums it up though.  We'll do that, and focus on that. 

If we split it up alphabetically, what points should we cut?  LP had some cutting points, are those good?

I wish we could cut the R section in half. As Rarty and Rainbow have a butt load of art. But as luck would have it, we can't. I'll quickly scroll through and see what would be good cutting points.
