May 30th is an animation event in Houston that King of the Hill staff will be at.  Likely to show more of the show.  A poster was released of the new show via Hulu!  A breakdown of all the latest news.

I was worried at first and I still am to some degree, but I am becoming more and more confident at the writers and the creator.  It seems like they know what they are doing in this revival.

Some new information on the King of the Hill revival...Bobby Hill works at a fusion restaurant in Dallas and is in a relationship.

Interestingly, Pamela Adlon--the voice of Bobby--played a chef in an episode of Elsbeth.  A lethal chef.
...Where'd I put that scary music sting?

The new character designs look very similar, I like that.  Boomhauer seemed to age the most due to the sun tanning he does.

If they get too old, we could call the series, "Over the Hill."

I am shocked this show is actually happening.  I hope it's done well and successful.  So far from those leaks, it looks like it's promising.

From all the stuff I've seen, the leaked storyboards, etc, the show looks like they are going to be writing good stuff just like they did in the past. :)

So much was dropped about the King of the Hill Revival including a release date, August 4th, and the new intro trailer plus synopsis!

Broken down here.

Huge drops and at first I wasn't sure what I thought of the slight redesigns, but it looks like they were faithful.  Bobby looks perfect.  Still the same kid.

That intro tells us so much.  Possibly Dale and Nancy broke up.  Kahn and Minh broke up.  Boomhauer appears to be married.

I do not like the synopsis that the Hill's moved to Saudi Arabia.  That makes no sense.  The Hank Hill we know would never leave the USA to live in another country, let alone leave Texas.  So they will definitely have to explain this one.

Very interesting.  I agree Bobby looks perfect.  Not sure about Peggy's new design.  But everyone does look like they've aged.

I also don't like that synopsis. They would never move to Saudi Arabia.

A shorter break down of the new intro!!  Video a few posts earlier summed it up much longer.  This one is quick if you are short on time.

Sad news.

Voice of John Redcorn, Jonathan Joss, Killed In San Antonio

Jonathan Joss, the voice actor best known as John Redcorn from "King of the Hill," was killed in a San Antonio, Texas, shooting on Sunday, according to police.

A suspect, 56-year-old Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja, was taken into custody and booked for murder, the San Antonio Police Department said in a statement.
Officers were dispatched to Dorsey Drive around 7 p.m. Saturday night for a shooting in progress and arrived to find the actor, full name Jonathan Joss Gonzales, near the roadway after he was shot, police said.

Authorities attempted life saving measures until EMS arrived and pronounced Joss, 59, deceased.

Joss was the voice actor for John Redcorn in the hit Fox animated series "King of the Hill," replacing the late Victor Aaron, who was the original voice. He also played Ken Hotate in "Parks in Recreation" and had roles in "Tulsa King" and the 2016 remake of "The Magnificent Seven."

His most recent acting credit was in 2023 for voicing a character in the "Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty" video game.

Representatives and family of Joss could not immediately be reached for comment.

He seems to have been in a very poor headspace with his life crumbling apart around him.  It's quite sad.  I'm not sure if you saw him at the KoTH event, but it was really sad. He was clearly mentally unwell.
