I think Curry would have been good as a previous generation Joker.  But they went a new route with the Joker and Hamill nailed it.

New Adult Swim show coming in 2025 called, "Common Side Effects."

Watched what has been released so far of this show and I must say, it's really good.  I mean, REALLY good.  I think AS will have another hit on their hands unless it gets too real and big pharma stops it. ;)

Oddly, if you search "blue angel mushroom," nothing appears online. Hmmm.

What is left of Cartoon Network, which is next to nothing, created this new piece from Cartoon Network Studios.  They are bringing back the Classic CARTOON CARTOONS bit with original animations including this new one, "A For Angel."  Yeah, yeah, another Heaven and Hell type thing, but with a twist. The little devil girl wants to be an Angel. According to the description, it reads that new Cartoon Cartoons will be released every Monday for an unknown amount of time. Despite this, this particular one has remained hidden since it's completion in 2023, and a lot has happened since then.

That was such a wildly weird show back in the day! He certainly had a unique design style with all the things he did. He liked absurdist.

Cartoon Network's old cartoons have long been lost as they don't put them on streaming, but that has changed!  Tubi has picked them ALL up and they are free for streaming on Tubi! FREE!!!  Classic WB, Hanna Barbara, 90's CN and early 2000s!!!! It's all here.

I'm literally on Tubi pretty much every night, enjoying the seventies and eighties shows of my youth.  Slight disclaimer; they don't have every classic Looney Tunes cartoon in their package.
The Censored Eleven is still quite verboten; several shorts, like "Hocus Pocus Powwow" and "Horse Hare", are conspicuously absent because of jokes about indigigi indigni ingeni them redskins, and there are censorship edits on a few, like "Horton Hatches The Egg".  Still, it's great to see some old cartoons that even I've forgotten about after over forty years.

Well there is good reason a lot of those aren't shown to today's super sensitive group of people. That stuff isn't right now days and it wasn't right back then, but it was "normal" to some.

I had no idea! I've sort of ignored Tubi for years, but maybe I should give it a look.

I've ignored streaming for years because it sucks. But I will give it a look now.

I wonder if they'll have Cow and Chicken and I.M. Weasel... and if they'll package them together, as they originally aired, or as two separate shows?  I still think Tubi should add some of those conspicuously-absent Looney Tunes to the package, as well as the Tom and Jerry shorts with Mammy Two-Shoes. To say nothing of a good number of Tex Averys that haven't seen the light of day in years.

They are still important for, if nothing else, their artistic merit and historical value.

(On that note, I do wish they wouldn't split them into four-episode "seasons" this awkwardly. I preferred having just the one long, easy-bingeing 52-ep block.)

Paramount made a better offer over Netflix to buy Warner Brothers-Discovery. With Netflix gone from negotiations, the stage is officially set for a gargantuan merger of some of Hollywood's biggest companies ever at $110 billion! What can we expect from Paramount Warner Bros Discovery? This would probably mean a lot of cost cutting and Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon would actually no longer be competitors as they would be under the same company!

Thoughts?

Either Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon will probably get cut completely.  The branding will probably be used for the one that gets cut on television for the online streaming service. :P

Paramount+ and HBO MAX will merge to one service.
