Yo, I already have a name for it:  ParaBoLA.  It combines the names of the parent networks with that of Los Angeles, the [onetime] seat of a lot of our most cherished, memorable movies and TV shows.  Though will it mean many of my favorite shows will move behind the premium paywall, and I'll have to shell out good bucks to watch all the sitcoms I didn't give two dribbling dooks about fifteen or 20 years ago when they were free on basic cable, but now nostalgia has made them totally irresistible to me?

I do think we will lose a network.  But yeah, it sucks.  TOO many people watch trash streaming now.

Tubi has The Mask... including the first part of the finale/crossover with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective

Be a lot cuter if that were a girl stuck in that predicament, I bet.

Hopefully they get the rights to Ace's animated series as well, in which the story is continued. The nineties were truly a golden age for Jim Carrey fans, with all three of his top movie getting adapted into 'toons ... I also saw Dumb and Dumber mentioned in the video, but it hasn't dropped yet.  When it comes, just close your eyes, and you'd swear your favorite big pink buddies were doing a teamup.

Still waiting on a complete run of Ed Grimley, too... I love that guy.

I completely forgot about the Ace Ventura cartoon.  I might have to watch that again.

Not quite yet, but it's been struggling for the last couple of years, with its website shutting down, little to no original programming being produced, and putting all its eggs in the HBO Max basket only to be cut off at the knees when Michael Ouweleen took over and cut budgets to the bone, which saw production on dozens of exciting animated projects such as Batgirl, Tweety Mysteries, and Scoob! Holiday Haunt unceremoniously axed.  The new network president described it as opening the the morning paper to read your own obituary.  [1

I say at this point their best bet may be to abandon ship entirely--just leave the dying parent network behind, break away and do a hip new rebrand/relaunch for 2027.  Hey, it worked for Adult Swim--I'm happy to say even their silent-but-deadly shame Assy McGee is back in the fold over there.

I don't know how they can split if they are owned by their parent company.  They would then have no money and die out there probably.

Maybe start out as a subsidiary, then do a Dreamworks and drift off into its own streaming service.  It's high time--the newest shows on Boomerang show ceased production, like, five years ago.  We need decent original content.

It's really unfortunate the state Cartoon Network is in.  I have always preferred it somewhat over Nickelodeon.  I have no idea what state Nick is in, but I am willing to bet CN is in a worse state.

I hope CN can find its footing again.  They had so much original content that was different than the safe world of Nickelodeon.  It was more experimental.

Cartoon Network fans furious after beloved channel goes dark on YouTube TV with ‘zero warning’

Beginning at 8pm, Cartoon Network halts all child-friendly programming and transitions to Adult Swim.

But now, Adult Swim, which features more adult, experimental cartoons, has been moved to a separate channel on YouTube TV.

This ends the longstanding practice between Cartoon Network and Adult Swim that has been in place since Adult Swim debuted in 2001.

On YouTube TV, Adult Swim programming now begins at 8pm on a separate channel while the Cartoon Network channel goes dark until 6am the next morning.

This will affect viewers who watch YouTube TV live, as well as viewers who have a specific channel bundle.

Viewers who have access to YouTube TV’s full slate of channels will need to reconfigure their channel lineup to include Adult Swim.

The move is part of YouTube TV’s push to allow viewers to customize the channels they’re paying for.

YouTube TV recently announced 12 new customizable bundles that are cheaper than their $82.99/month full package.
