Hopefully one day I'll get there.

I truly hope so too.  I hope we all get where wee want to be.

We are all at least wary of the future, Blurr.  We have been shot down before, which might be why so many of us blast out negatives to pull people back down with us.  It isn't intentional, but note, we weren't doing that only, as we left room for the positive light.  You can be that light.  Every one of us can be that light.

That's another thing. If people suggest things you can't be stubborn and be like "but no this is how I want it!!!" Because yeah, proofreaders are from outside your head, and are gonna tell you things that don't come off that great or just aren't as a good an idea as you thought them. You have to be open to change.

Tell me about it!  Ideas that sound great in your head and when on paper or in comic form come out poor.  Heh... I know a lot of that.

She went to college for it for many years, but got lucky.

But can't leave out the college.  And still, it is contracted, which means she could be out of a job at the end of each contract.  That is a scary way to live, but I am very happy she is doing what she wants and hope she can get a full time salary job and not a risky contract one. :)

I mean, I don't blast out negatives to bring people down to where I am. I'm pretty confident of my future. I know the hardships that await my track, which is incredibly long schooling, but I know I'm on the right track. I just have to keep being the best student I can be and get experience and most importantly MAKE CONNECTIONS! Even for vets it's important so you can get a job as soon as you get out.

I say negatives because I know they exist. I know there's always a light through the dark scary woods of life. But the dark scary woods can't be ignored. The negatives are there. And they will get in the way. And sometimes there's more paths. But yeah, keep aiming for the light and all that corny stuff.

Anyways, we've all had a long night.  Sleep tight Blurr, and good night everyone else.

Be confident Blurr.  Hurdles.  Like I said earlier in the night.  You get over them, and they make you stronger.

Heck, this conversation made you stronger, Blurr. :)  Night, and contact me anytime.

Trust me, I know the feel too well. It's part of the reason I struggle hard with my stories lol. I wonder if maybe what I think is good is actually garbage to others. So I freak. But yeah, it's why I like asking people to give me their honest opinions so I know where to improve and what I did right.

And as expensive as college is, it really helps. And some tracks really do need it to help you get a foot in the door.

It sort of boils down too, you have to be realistic.  You can have dreams, and work to achieve them, but you have to be realistic.

There are limits to what we can do.

A person who can't walk can have dreams of walking again, but realistically they know it might never happen.  But they can still dream and hope, knowing there is always that wonderful chance just waiting to be captured. :)

I'm off to go draw, so have a good night everyone.  I hope at least someone provided some good insight and gave you some confidence tonight, Blurr.

Nice talking with you all.  I've been doing it more lately, and it's always nice.

Exactly. Be realistic. And while it sucks to have to give up on a dream, if it isn't realistic, stop wasting your time on it. Work for something better for yourself that's attainable. Sure everyone has that dream they can't obtain, but they can still be happy doing something that they love.

Captain Ridiculous found something they love and it became their passion.  Find your passion, and it if becomes unrealistic, make it realistically possible.
