Smiles is a girl.  It is so obvious just by how she talks and is so nice to people.  Nice = girl. ;)  See my logic here?  :)

It would seem Umeko is upset.  How can we help her?

She's upset because she thinks no one is commenting on her work like they did before.

Aw, that's sad. Hmm, I wish I could say her work is really good without coming off that I'm saying it just to make her feel better. Because her work is honestly amazing. So much life and personality is in them.

Yes there truly is.  It just isn't something people here for instance comment on as much, but it is super intensely detailed and unique.  People can't feel the same passion she feels in those characters because we don't have the same history with them she does.  We don't know all she knows and thinks about her characters.

Mmm, true true.
I just don't know what she means by this anniversary image. Did you see something about that? Maybe on her DA? Was the topic buried maybe when a lot of artists posted a lot of stuff?

I don't know.  I looked through her DA, but not sure what she meant by anniversary image.

Anniversary of her being on PSF for a month?  I doubt that and don't know if that is even true.  Has to be more substantial to her.  Like maybe an anniversary of a character or something.  Like Skylar being kitchen with that female.  I don't know.

In early April, she posted a journal on her DA thanking everyone for her being online for 13 years.  She got no comments except from PSF.  This could be the anniversary she is referring too.

Well how would we know?  How would anyone know?  Most people don't even read journals, right?   Those are all legitimate questions.

Yeah I don't ever read anyone's journals on DA anymore. There's too many.

Way too many.  Especially if you are a person who does a journal ten times a day (in general, any person who does).  The reason why some journals are read, is because someone posts one, when they are someone who doesn't usually post them.  MasterXtreme is a perfect example of this, who made a journal when PSF 1.0 was shut down.  Everyone saw it, because it was so "Weird" to see MasterXtreme post a journal.  He just doesn't.  He knows people won't read what he says, so when he does post one, people look because it is out of character and rare.

I didn't see that.

I am pretty confident in saying most people don't read journals, especially really long ones, all the way to the end.  Unless you put in the title it is your anniversary, most will not read it or care.  Even if it is in the title, you might get, "good job" or "congrats" is all.

Yeah, DA users are finicky people. The site format encourages quick viewings, to just shuffle through things, I admit I'm guilt of that when looking at art. I used to avidly comment on people's pieces, now I just fave them because the short comment style of "so cool" or "awesome drawing" isn't my style. It usually takes A LOT for me to comment on something. Usually comics can get me to comment, especially if they're recent and I don't feel like I'm dragging up an artists old work.
