Thank you, LP.   I don't know.  I've had a rough go recently, been pretty quiet.  But I came home, saw my girl, then came here, and this calmness ensued.

Yeah, things are getting better.  Work was stressing us both out, so it was time for a change.  Luckily the BIG MAN UPSTAIRS, placed a new opportunity for me to pursue and everything seems to be going smoothly so far.

I actually used to love my work there.  But the past few months everything changed, the culture changed, and it started going down hill quick.  I was putting in very long hours to try and fix things and convert things over to a new system.  I did 60 plus hour weeks, and that was putting stress on me and my relationships.  I had no free time either. 

So I hope everything will be good now.

But gee whiz, those are long hours. I think I'd die, I have to have some free time to function. I hope everything works out then. And you have free time and time for your relationships.

It used to have a family culture to it.  A culture of success and building people up.  But then new leadership came in, and merging, and... well things changed.  The personal positives of the job vanished and the family culture vanished.  You just became a subject who worked and you were nothing more.  You are only as good as your leaders are, and our new leaders weren't fit.  Our past foundation crumbled under new management, and the new company is by numbers only.  Employee's mean nothing.  You are replaceable. 

The old company was great, and I wish our old owners the best.  They really knew how to run a company people enjoyed working for.

I'm sorry to hear it all changed.  Sad.  It sounds like your previous managers were good people.
