As well, the Olympics are fun to watch tonight.  Currently it is the women's running events, and they are such athletes.  I love it when the Olympics come around.  USA is winning everything.  Sadly, I was watching other events earlier on CBC or CTV, and our Canadian brethren are losing a lot.  I want them to do good too, but they are struggling a lot this year it seems.

Watched Women's basketball dominate today.

The Olympics are pretty great.   I just watched the American's make the Italian beach volley ball team look like beginners.  They dominated.

I watched that too.  Been trying to go to sleep, but something big is going down.

About an hour ago, at least seven police cars raced by, a few had their sirens blaring and all had their lights on.  I then happened to get up when about fifteen minutes later they all drove away fro the direction they were headed, but a few parked alongside the road, then eventually left.  Now about five minutes ago, all seven squad cars raced by again in the original direction they headed the first time with lights and sirens.  Something is going on, but not sure what.  Seems like a busy night, or like they are searching for someone?

Maybe they were waiting for someone or a search warrant at night?  I am not sure.  Might know more in the morning news.

Watching the Olympics, and the female diving is on.  Just ended.  The American Johnston is going in, two Canadian's got in, and the Chinese are both in and unstoppable.  The Chinese have such composure and are so lean, they just glide into the water with no splash what-so-ever. 

Cassidy Cook, the other American did not make it , as she struggled on one dive, and it was hard to catch back up.  Pamela Ware, a Canadian, played it safe and made it in.  Jennifer Abel, also made it in.  She didn't do as well in her first dive and last dive, but had an amazingly complicated dive she executed near perfectly and got lots of points for it.    She's also one of the few divers to have a pretty nice round booty.

So here is the latest medal count for Rio 2016.

USA has the most gold medals at 24 and the most medals overall at 61.

Second is China with 13 gold and 41 total medals.

Great Britain has 10 gold and 30 other.

Germany is fourth with 8 gold and 16 other.

Japan is fifth with 7 gold and 24 other. 

Sixth and onward is as follows.

Russia
Australia
Italy
South Korea
France
Hungry
Netherlands
Spain
New Zealand

Canada is 15th. 

This is odd, but North Korea is 24th.

Brazil is 26th.

The United States also won it's 1,000th gold medal, more then any other nation in history.

It might be a quiet week or so.... I too am going to be away for about a week.  Well, one week.  It is going to be some special time.   I wish ye all the best, and I probably won't be here much, because I am going to be spending it with someone else.  Sooo.... yeah.  I will peek when I can.
