Washington and Oregon are probably the most beautiful states in the country.  No joke. 

You guys are forgetting Alaska on the west coast too.  Alaska is also on the top three most beautiful.

I was born in the east, and am currently not out west at the moment.

Though that latest Trixie story was based on a stretch of coastline I found on the west coast.

We have been crazy talkative as a site this month so far.  Everyday for 2017 has had over 200 posts except one day, which was over 140 posts.

I do love Alaska. But I never considered it the "west coast" always saw it as its own thing.
When I was a kid I wanted to move there. May still be thinking about it, since if I live there my mom wouldn't visit as often.

Alaska is a whole nother' animal to tame.  It's remote.

Yeah. Which means more animal encounters with pets. Which means more patients for me.

Alaska isn't like any of the other states.  The most "normal" places would be around Anchorage and the capital of Juneau (which has no road access).  But in the summer you get almost 24 hours of sunlight and in the winter, nearly 24 hours of darkness. 

Juneau is more like Washington State since it is only a 2 some hour flight away.  But they get far more snow, and not the sunlight and darkness extremes.
