I don't think anyone really does anything to celebrate MLK day.  Where I live, no one treats it any different then a normal day.  Everyone still works.

I guess you can reflect on the change and how bad race relations got under Obama.

MLK day used to not be a day off. And when I was in elementary and middle school we'd talk about him in history and stuff and observe what he did. But I guess now it's just a day off so kids aren't made to remember what he's done? Idk. I think it's better to not have the day off so kids can you know, know the importance behind the day and the man.

MLK day is more celebrated on the east coast and south.  Isn't much paid attention in the west.  So differences between the coasts.
