I just feel, people say something. Someone doesn't agree with it/doesn't feel comfortable because they think it's deviant or doesn't fit in their moral grounds.

And while doing this and preaching this. Others feel awkward and agree. But then, they don't realize they're driving others away. They're driving other users away. Making them feel unwelcome. Unwanted. Away from places they felt it was okay to be them.

I'm not saying it's wrong for you to feel it's wrong. But don't push that on others. Don't make them agree. Because you're making people feel wrong about what they like. It's conformity. And I'm speaking for those who don't want to say that themselves. Because they feel unwanted. Because they feel you're labeling them as wrong, as deviants, as little punks.

And I think that's wrong. And goes against everything, we as our forum stand for. Community.

Yes we are a safe space for people, but just because we are a safe space, doesn't mean we don't have rules and have to draw the line in places.  Not only do we have our own site rules, but we need to abide by the rules of our host provider.  We need to stay on good terms.  To me this idea would jeopardize that.

I felt it was wrong from the start, though. And I didn't mean to push it on others...

So don't push we think it's wrong, and at the same time, we can't allow the person who thinks it is right to push their ideas either.

So no matter what it ends in neutral grounds. 

And I never tried to push my agenda on anyone.  I said I was staying out of it.  Then when people kept asking for more input, I said my bit.

Who are we pushing away?  We still welcome everyone.  They can still do this privately whenever they want.

As Soda said, it doesn't matter what we want to do, we have to follow what our host's guidelines are.

Oh my gosh, posting sneezing stuff is technically "porn" for some people. That's abiding by site rules since it actually isn't porn.

Posting about how we induce if we do is the same. It isn't pornographic. Or lewd. If someone chooses it to use as lewd stuff for their me time, that's not on us. If you feel uncomfortable with thy happening, why post in the "how many times did you sneeze today?" Because I can tell you, people jack off to it. Not me. But I know people do. Bu that's okay.

And because of all this, you've pushed precious members away. And that saddens me. That disgusts me. And I'm upset, honestly. At all of you.

I understand and see LP's point of view.  I see how she feels we are blocking people out, but in reality, we are not.  There are no rules on this, and new members will never read this chat.  Nothing has changed and again, a lot of nothing, is being blown out of proportion.
