I would totally like to buy it... we could have a PSF party on it, and drive around places.

But it would probably cost a lot for them to register it sea worthy is my guess?  I don't know much about ships and their registration.

It honestly seems like a good deal for a ship that had so many rooms, a cooking area, etc.

The Taku's amenities included a hot-food cafeteria; bar; solarium; forward, aft, recliner, movie, and business lounges; gift shop; 8 four-berth cabins; and 36 two-berth cabins.

More info on the boat.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MV_Taku

And according to an Alaska website the ship has these stats.

Year Built: 1963
Length (ft.): 352
Passenger Capacity: 370
Staterooms- 4 berth: 9
Staterooms- 2 berth: 33
ADA Staterooms 2
Total Staterooms: 44
Vehicle Quantity: 69

The M/V TAKU was built by Puget Sound Bridge & Dry Dock Company of Seattle and began service in 1963. Renovated in 1981, the vessel is 352 feet long, with capacity for 69 vehicles (20' lengths), and operates at a service speed of 16.5 knots. It can carry 450 passengers, and has 9 four-berth, and 33 two-berth cabins.

Seems solid for so little money.

Now you guys have me curious about this boat.  Here is a similar boat from the inside, also an Alaska Marine Highway ferry.  These ships leave from Bellingham, Washington and cruise on up to several ports in Alaska.  Good video  to see the different areas.  Nothing luxurious, but for the price, you seem to get a ton.

$1.5 million seems like a low price.

If we all chip in... we can buy that ship... then we would need to buy a crew.... all of us can be the crew!  Solved!
