According to a quick search online, the biggest marina on the west coast is in Everett, Washington.  I guess we would have to park it there.

Yeah, you would have to move there unless you can afford keeping your old living conditions on top of the ships costs.

Okay... so this would save us money on fueling, and since it is protected, in theory, the ship would not deteriorate as fast.

I think it is currently parked in Bellingham, Washington.  So it would be a quick tow ride to Everett.  Less then a day.
