I wonder how much courses would cost and if the license would have to be renewed to a new cost yearly?

Not nearly as bad as the $1.5 million to buy the blasted thing.  Still, around $2 million and I think we could do it.  That includes a license.

Okay, so this could take awhile too.  We would have to attend a Coast Guard-Approved Academy for training then gain experience as an officer, obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credentials, then get a Merchant Mariner Credential, and work our way up the ranks to ship captain....

We would have to hire a ship captain to even drive our ship.  I THINK our ship dream went down a whirlpool of failure. :(
