The London attack had some guys in a van, who rammed people, ran out and stabbed people, and thankfully the London Police stopped them.  Sadly not before their damage had been done.

It is impossible to know when they will strike. Countries and agencies get threats all the time.  They need to know which are real and which are fake, and that is really hard to do.

Like imagine this.  You get 100 slips of paper all saying different locations to meet someone.  One of those locations is real, the rest are fake.

Not replace those slips of paper of being threats, and raise it from 100 to thousands a day.  Good luck.

I don't want to jinx anything, but I have felt our policing here in the States has done a good job at preventing attacks and if they happen, responses are fast and efficient.
