I've watched this movie twice now!  I really love it.  Jeez.  It's good and it has such heavy racial undertones.

I know right? There's one line that really spoke to me, and probably other immigrants who in their home countries were professionals but in the US are "nothing". It's when Judy confronts Nick after he basically tries to beat her down emotionally, where she basically says that Nick never tried to be anything more than a scam artist. First time I watched the movie I was like whoa, Judy, way to be an assuming biatch XD

Yes, I've dubbed that Trope "In my Country, I was A Lawyer". They also used it in the second Cloudy With A Chance of Meatball picture, with that little fellow Manny.  Subverted with Chester V, who is also foreign-- looking strikingly like an evil Ghandi-- but has enjoyed success in his field.
