Thank God no one was hurt.  Left wing extremism and violence has definitely been an ongoing issue for years now and they are in denial about it.  They need to calm things down with their base.  Their extremist ends are going nuts.  This is the fourth attempt we know of on Trump's life that has been successful stopped, thank goodness.

...But, gad, the barrage of anti-Trump rhetoric in the media.  I can't even watch the new season of South Park because the jokes aren't funny or even terribly clever.  Didn't the left roundly criticize some TV mini-series because of a devil character who looked and sounded like Barack Obama? ^[1]  But you can show Donald Trump literally [bleep]ing Satan in the [bleep]? C'mon, now.   

Now, I was no friend of the former President's, certainly, but I never once called for something terrible to happen to him. And I never liked Joe Biden, and taking advantage of him doddering around spaced-out in some wide-open field ^{[2] [3]} would have, frankly, been a bird's next on the ground...but would we have felt good about that?  Security detail tired of dealing with the flatulent old buzzard...?  Just stick him in a closet and let him bump his forehead against the wall for a few hours 'til he tires himself out.  ^[4]  But, see, no one was saying these things in the mainstream media. They couldn't. They were scared to. Their names would have turned up on Obama's list, right next to the ObamaCare critics, and they would have gotten a visit from the reeducation center police.

Anyone else following this whole Ilhan Omar story?  Okay, the whole "squick" factor of the man she has marriage paperwork on being allegedly her brother aside for the moment... a LOT doesn't add up about it. I've checked; Minnesota has no proof of consummation statute to declare a marriage fully legal nor a common-law statute on its books. Still, isn't there some sort a residency requirement they're ignoring here? To receive rights and benefits a couple doesn't necessarily have to have a church or civil ceremony--though this varies by jurisdiction--to be recognized, but they must live together and represent themselves publicly as married. Did Mr. and Mrs O. keep house? Did they introduce themselves as "my husband" and "my wife" to everyone they met? Did they hold hands and stare in each other's eyes and use gooshy pet names with each other to keep up appearances? Did Unca Stepdad coach Illy's kids to, when out and about, call him "Daddy" as a part of the charade? Did they have excuses ready for any immigration agents who came about sniffing for irregularities as to why they didn't share a bed?  I must admit, I'm perversely fascinated by the whole thing.  I mean, she's wealthy and powerful. Couldn't she arrange for her brother to find a girl on one of those sites to marry? No shortage of passably pretty, desperate girls looking to be taken care of there. Believe me, I've looked.  She must have a nice, tidy slush fund somewhere to secretly support the happy couple in the manner of a Somali oligarch. Why put her name on the paperwork and risk blowing up her life when she got found out?

Frankly, I think we deserved this shellacking... These people are not even trying to lie to us any more, and we're still falling for it.

Notice his tactic. He verbally jousts with, "Are you?" and "Why do you say that?" "Why are you asking me this?" "What's your point?", not once allowing the questioner, Tommy, to finish a thought. Never once did "El Cid" actually answer a question; he just keeps taking swipes at his opponent, effectively controlling the whole conversation, and then glibly turns it all back onto Tommy, confusing them into submission. That's literally his whole debate strategy: obfuscation. Why doesn't anyone ask him about his t[bleep]t of a sister, and then take advantage of his stunned silence to land a pointed question, "Can you show me how you aim to institute all these massive reforms you have planned, quickly and under budget? Break it down for me, please. Show me a chart." Maybe he can tag in The Zohran, who will stand there and grin like a fool long enough to hypnotize the audience while he recovers from the blow.

...No, but seriously, how did he and "Six-Genders" Totalreek-o ever get elected? Will he now tell us what the other four are? I have some theories, but I really want to hear it from him first....
