It can either be a real 10/10 movie, or it could be crap. Like... not even joking.

I feel that when it comes to stuff like this, it could either be MUAH or bleh.
I'm hoping I'm proven wrong though and that it's either "yeah OK" or muah.

Personally I hope there's not a bunch of fan pandering.

It has potential, I'll say that.
But with great potential could come great let down.
I'm sure since it'll be pony centered more bronies would actually be willing to go to the theater to watch it.
It could be good. Who knows.
And as for fan pandering, it all depends if it's done well and not blatantly "HEY, THIS IS A REFERENCE!? GET IT!!??"

All of this in a nutshell. I hate when they do that crap. Like, some are nice and subtle, and hell, some of the non subtle ones are perdy damn good (I liked the reference to the Shining they did in the Smooze episode). But when it's in your face, it's just nah/10.

Oh yeah, that was great! Those are really just references, not fan pandering.
They usually do references pretty well. One that was annoying was the one where Pinkie says "I never got that ponies name" at the end of the Cheese Sandwich episode. It made no sense. Sure it's a reference, but it's a bad one.

I'm worried the movie will be absolute trash.  I really hope not. Even if the story is bad, I bet the animated ponies will be wonderful.  Think of it, there hasn't been a hand drawn animated cartoon in ages.  Will they make it very beautiful FLASH?  Has there ever been a Flash animated movie before?

I'm pretty sure there has been. And just look at how stellar they make the show on the non movie budget they have. Imagine what the can do in a magical land of Equestra with a movie budget to animate. It could be truly epic.

Strangely the images don't expand for me either.  But thats okay, just using up site memory and bandwidth.  I never knew that backstory with Chrysalis.

I bet the movie will have some "Save the world" kind of plot.  Maybe Chrysalis takes over with a army similar to the Nazi's?  Taking control.... oh who am I kidding.  It will be a save the world with friendship and some other cutesy female character being evil.
