Someone else: Super Mario World is a pretty cool game

Dee: But why do you need a license to drive

Nothing, it's just the vibe I got from that conversation.

I think you're getting too stuck on something you don't need to Dee.  Character development was not the downfall of MLP.

Not everyone wants character development all the time and not everyone wants lighthearted all the time. There is a balance.  It's why some shows do lighthearted and some do lore heavy. Some mix between the two.

But then there are people who told me that Harvey Street Kids/Harvey Girls Forever! didn’t really needed character development anyway and also how The Mitchells vs. The Machines does not need to let us know more about Katie’s friends and the Poseys as Katie’s friends and the Poseys are better off staying as minor characters.

Because they didn't need to.  Street Kids was a show made to be deep in it's lore or character development.  It's just a show to sit back, relax, and enjoy silly antics.  It's not meant to be deep.

Mitchell's as well.  It's constrained by time, being a movie, so they didn't need to waste time to develop characters you don't need to know about.

But also, several of you pointed out that Disney doesn't do good with depth, lore, and character development on their story driven cartoon shows.

Is it because Disney tries too hard on depth, lore, and character development with their serialized shows?

It has nothing to do with whether they are good or not with character depth and world building.  It has everything to do with what their goal is with the show and their target audience.  Not everything has to have character depth and world building.  It depends on the situation, DEE.

Then yet again, people complained about Star vs. The Forces of Evil when it got worst in Seasons 3 and 4.

https://everfreenw.com

Everfree Northwest is going on right now.  August 23-25th. The event this year is quite big, yet again, and has a location at a ritzy hotel in downtown Bellevue, Washington. They have comic artists like Andy Price, Tony Fleecs, and more, plus voice VAs in Nicole Oliver (Celestia), AJ Bridel (Pipp Petals), Andrew Francis (Shining Armor), Rebecca Shiochet (Sunset Shimmer), and more! Some other guests include Saberspark, DustyKatt, Silver Quill, and so many more. Lot's of vendors, events, concerts, food, and more.

Just figured I would update y'all since this is one of the big remaining Ponycons in the US.

What do you guys mean by stay focused and on topic?

Also, do any of you get what I mean by people saying that Star vs. got worst when it became more depth driven in Seasons 3 and 4?

Okay, now, it's clear you're trolling. We know you can at the very least comprehend English.
