I guess it's time we go back to discussing Disney stuff here. :)
Okay. Um....today is the sixtieth anniversary of the debut of the film Mary Poppins.

The film got a follow-up a little over a half-century later, Mary Poppins Returns--at the time the longest gap between a film and its sequel on record. Surviving cast member Dick Van Dyke--Bert the cockney chimney sweep in the original--appears in the new movie as a different character. It's also the final film role for David Warner who passed just four years later.   :'( >>()

What a classic film and what a wonderful actress she was.  So much class and poise.

Celebrating 30 YEARS since "A Goofy Movie" released, Disney presented this 3D Youtube concert experience with Powerline, Gooy, Max and more! Pretty fun nostalgia trip!

It's funny how Disney is caring more about the Goofy Movie anniversary over most of their main films.  This movie was so good though.  It didn't have the same budget but made such an impact.

I loved this movie as a kid! So glad it is getting a second chance at being a cult classic.

Monday was also the 25th anniversary of Disney's TaleSpin.  Warm up your best Don Karnage voices, and let's celebrate.
Sadly, no classic Goofy shorts, with the original voice of our favorite dippy dog, Mr. Pinto Colvig, debuted today.

More Disney anniversaries aqui.

I like how he shows us how he does the goofy laugh and scream. ;D

After ten years, Phineas and Fern is back with a new season for Disney.  I haven't watched it, but it's getting a lot of buzz.

So ... is that a life-size Candace Muppet, or did the boys get hold of that bone-melting alien tech from that ship in Milo Murphy's Law and use it on their sister?

Speaking of MML, I am watching the revival as we speak, and... okay, so they just pretty much defecated on Doof's whole redemption arc and he's back to being evil again?  Kinda a rip, i'nnit? Perhaps something happened over in Hamster and Gretel to explain this whole three-sixty. Maybe an eight-four minute three-way crossover episode extravaganza would explain it? It could be the problem started over in Hailey's On It! with a bungled list item...? [in bad Doofenshmirtz voice] "Hey, wait--that girl's adventures aren't part of our shared universe.  Er...or are they? Hm."
