Isn't that ridiculous how big it is?  I had a friend buy a copy too.  Took him DAYS to download it on his rural internet.

Yeah, it's giant. Especially for a game that came out what, about 5 years ago? Like, Doom (2016)'s default size was like....60GB. And then had an update that added a good 30 or so to that.

Isn't that space also including all the GTA online updates?  It's had years of updates.  I don't know, just asking.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's with all the updates. It's still pretty damn crazy, though.

Yeah it does take a lot of storage because of the content that's out.

Yes, yet does include the updates.  When I originally bought the game, I still thought it was a high 20GB though.

Dayum. I think base Far Cry 5 is like.... either twice as much as that, or only 10GB more than that. And that game came out this year, so like...dayum

Rockstar packs more into their games then anyone.  Believe me.  The fine details.  You won't see a single repeat building or sign anywhere in that game (other then chain brands).  Every intersection is unique, every road is different.  Many games make cities sort of blur together as one, but Rockstar makes everything unique like in real life.  I've never seen a company be able to do that.  You can see the socio economic factors fully come into play as you drive through neighborhoods.  You can tell this neighborhood isn't as good by X or that this isn't as nice as this place because of X.

It is truly amazing.  I've spent hours just driving around and walking around slowly examining all this stuff.

And to answer everyone's question, when GTA V first came out in 2013, it required 8GB of open space to install the game.
