At a suggestion by Silverwing, I've begun my own thread, where I can post sketches,  scripts,  stories,  sneeze/non-sneeze art, and the like, or simply field questions from my fellow posters.

So this series is a fun hobby your do?  You have so much.  I've seen it before, but have never gotten super in depth with it.  It's like a comic variety show, right?  Full of crass humor?

It started out as sort of a little side project I began in high school and had going through college, but over time it started taking up more of my life-- and space on my shelf. Yeah, it's a superhero comic with a lot of slice-of-life to it, almost like an animated sitcom at times.

Wonderful!  Great to see more content being shared of your bizarre series.  Yes, I have dabbled in it, and have gone to very dark places with it.  It's a trip. 

Reminds me of the animation revival in the 90s with Animaniacs and humor from shows like that as well as the classic WB toons.  Slap stick and lots of visual gags.

Lots of bathroom humor too.  Any given page, you expect several of those.

It's a screencap from the Ozzy and Drix episode "Gas of Doom"... a show from KWB's "hip urban" phase back in the early '00s.

So this series...  How many have you made?

I've put together 90 full e-comics, plus two trade paperbacks with material from the first 25 issues. I've got another forty issues in various stages of completion (many of them just concepts and scribbled notes).

On average, how many pages in an issue now?

The avg. issue is 24 pages, though a few are double-length, triple-length, or "overflow" (i.e. slightly over normal length but still bear the regular cover price of $1.00-- which at this point is more a suggestion than anything else).

The series has been called "what one could get if one could somehow put American TV from the '80s and '90s through a blender", which I think is pretty spot-on.

As I've noted, there have been two BDC trade paperbacks released. The first was Secrets of a Teenage Superhero, which includes reprints of the very first issue, "Who Decapitated Codger Carbuncle?" and "Demi-Jon".

The new compilation, Red, Yellow, and Blue, goes on sale officially tomorrow. It comprises material from issues #25-27, along with a photo gallery and bonus content.

I've got over a hundred covers uploaded at present-- still finishing up a few more.  Yes, we've got comics, sketches, novels, short stories, links to my fiction in magazines--  quite a lot of content, actually.

It's cool you are doing what you love.  I like to write myself, so I am always very happy to see another writer succeed.  If I was new to your writing style, which I am, what book would you recommend picking up by you?  For a new comer to your work.
