Thankfully no one was hurt.  This could have been a disaster.  A truck carrying some cars high centered on a rural railroad crossing as an Amtrak train was coming.

I wonder what the engineers did when bracing for impact?  Because that was going to be right at their eye level.  I wonder if they ducked and covered?  It was going to be bad.  Also that SUV literally had several seconds of air before landing.  Wow.  Good to hear no one was seriously hurt.

Since we had a conversation about Russia in the *TS topic, I think I must share a five-year old video from the regional airport with a DUI car inside the terminal. That incident was really famous, but maybe you didn’t hear about it.

The driver just didn't want to have to deal with all the airport hassles.  He just wanted to get to his flight. ;D I will say, he drove somewhat carefully at times and purposely avoided people.  He also avoided the law too..... oops.

Is there a known outcome for this joyrider?

Well, there were saying about one hundred thousand dollars worth of damage, plus some minor injuries to cops, so there probably was more than 15 days detention.
