Well, this is singular.  An absolute marvel of science. I heard about this video on the John Boy and Billy Big Show.

The beetle is swallowed; about two hours later, he exits out of the frog's hiney-hole, alive and well. Now, most of y'all are probably too young to remember this old cartoon, but as a kid I used to watch it before school--it was about the adventures these two dimwitted toads, see...
So occasionally they went after a Japanese beetle, who would thoroughly thrash the pair... and I got to thinking how much funnier this frog video would be with some karate sound effect inserted just before the bug emerges.

And then the frog sees the bug walk away, and....     :))

One of the funnest ads of 2005 with the greatest song to go with it.  One of the ads here, the short 30 second cut.  The second video is the full song/music video.  Thanks Fruit of the Loom for this ad.

Horrifying accident in the NASCAR race at Daytona that secures the playoff drivers.

Driver Ryan Preece flips an unknown amount of times.  As of typing this, he was taken to the infield care center than transported to a nearby medical center.

Today, on German Unity Day (a public holiday here), I'd like to share some videos with you from a series I've really come to appreciate.  :)
There is this American filmmaker named Nick Alfieri (former professonal football player) who has been living in Germany for some time, in the beautiful town Schwäbisch Hall.
He makes those little clips that - I think - are fun to watch, but also make you think.

Just perfect for this day today, here's the video that explains how we Germans (although I don't really like to generalize national character traits, but I think there is a little bit of truth in it) are "proud of not being proud".  :))  <<<V>>>

Also, I really like this one:

And, for some fun, watch this one - 13 things Americans don't understand about Germans:

There are many more, but I thought I'd just share those above at this point.  :)

I did watch the first video so far and it was an interesting watch.  I enjoyed learning.  Happy Unity Day to you!  Be silently proud. ;)

Thank you for sharing.  I watched the first one so far.  How a country (generalized) supports itself is always an interesting issue.  Each place does it differently. Europe tends to be more quiet about it... until there is a futbol match. ;)
