This is the sound that plays when Tim is looking at some finely stretched lycra over some sexy continents. ;)  (Also a truck related comment)

I can’t see the maps like this without playing this sound inside my head.

Countries don’t stretch like lycra!
(another truck-related comment ;D)

Just imagine how countries can be stretchy and indestructible as The Incredibles superhero suits ;D.
(Marinette also is a good example)
No wars for territories!

Too bad countries aren't as bullet-proof and as fire-proof as their super suits.

Gentlemen!  You have to make up your minds.  Either this is a trucking simulator topic, or a geography topic, or an Incredibles Fanclub topic!  Make up your mind!  8)

Some of the best nature we've seen for ETS2.  Actually this is probably the best so far.  They keep improving.  I love the variety in foliage. Even take note of the mesh on the rocks to prevent rock slides.

Austria looks very nice, but this looks even more detailed.  Nice eye, Soda.

Someday we are all gonna miss the sunflowers...

This is a random idea, but what if SCS someday in the future had a tie-in with NASCAR or F1 (depending on the game) and players got to deliver some real world race cars in official truck trailers?  It would be an interesting idea, and I bet at least one of the sanctioning racing bodies would like the idea.  They have cities where many race tracks are located and it could totally be done.

If one of these real sanctioning bodies did agree to this, I feel F1 would be less likely to want to do it.  Possibly feeling a trucking sim game is 'beneath them.'  NASCAR seems like they'd be more onboard with something like this.  This is probably a weird crossover, but it might be a fun idea.

^ Thats an interesting idea.  Even if they didn't get a real license, they have some race tracks in the games.  They could have a fictional race team hauler for a fictional racing league.

Technically, we already have monstrous dump trucks as the cargo from Special Transport DLC ;D.
Or, former Austrian city ;D. Actually, Trieste belonged to a lot of ancient states.

That is one of Italy's biggest seaports and seaports are some of my favorite depots!  I look forward to this addition.

I had to look at the map for this city and it's pretty crazy how close to the border it is to the other countries.  It makes you wonder who drew the lines?  Like why did Italy get this little piece of land along the water, while Slovenia got the mountain behind the city, and a tiny piece of waterfront for water access just south of the port.  It's so weird. ;D Nothing geographically should split this area up among three countries, yet random lines drawn by someone does.

Trieste and Koper are both important seaports for each country, and they are so close to each other.  I wonder how SCS will fit it all in?

Does anyone know if Italy has open borders with Slovenia?  Looking at street view, it looks like they at one time had infrastructure for border checkpoints, but at street view, all the checkpoints look old and abandoned.  Even the main motorways access points.

As I know, Slovenia has very tight connections with Italy now, so it’s no wonder there are abandoned checkpoints.
Also, notice how B&H has only one point of connection with the sea — if not the agreement with Croatia, B&H could remain the landlocked country.
