I think we will get an announcement for a release day of a new ATS DLC within two weeks. I really think this week or next.

Spoiler (hover to show)
You are right. There is also an ETS2 announcement very soon about Russia.  1.44 is laying there groundwork for it.  New roads and new borders to Russia are in 1.44.

Spoiler (hover to show)
Russian border control looked to small if compared to Turkish or Romanian ones, so it’s no wonder SCS decided to make this prefab at least bigger. Also, one of the main changes in S-Pb. was the rework of southern interchanges, consisting of connection with M10 and M11 highways, both of them are going to Moscow.

Most of thanks must be in Czech language ;D, although now SCS team is international ;D.
There is something wrong with their forum, I can’t open it for several hours.

I can't even login to my special portal section of the forum.  I hope it is an innocent issue and not some angry fan doing something dumb.

World of Trucks is working though.

Their official website works.

https://www.scssoft.com

I checked their Twitter to see if they would announce their forum is down, but there was nothing.  Instead they announced an ATS livestream on May 5.... so I missed it.

Maybe this page will help people.  It has a link to every single social media service SCS is affiliated too.  They have separate Facebook pages for SCS Software, ATS, and ETS2!  I had no idea they had so many accounts.  I only follow the blog, the forum sometimes, and maybe Twitter for instances like right now.  The link to their forum also isn't working from this page.  So something is clearly not working on the forum.  Maybe maintenance?

^ If I remember correctly, these look a lot like areas from Extreme Trucker 2 (I think).  On image four of the blog, I also love the little detail of the fire watch observation tower up on the hillside.

NEW TRUCKS COMING

@MasterXtreme and @Captain Ridiculous were right about new upcoming trucks. They have been saying these were coming since late last year and as recently as two weeks ago. Thanks for the insider knowledge! On the May 5th ATS stream, it was announced and highly shown off what some new trucks for ATS will be.  Spoilers below.

Volvo VNL (current generation)

The Kenworth, Mack, and Volvo have all had their sounds recorded and they were recently holding meetings and "signing papers"  related to these brands.

I was reminded of that too, since it was a logging job. :D
