Two similar posts in two days... Well, I wish these two DLCs to come out with the same time gap ;D.
We already have Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, Klamath Falls, now it’s Great Falls (the same with a lot of ... Springs ;D). So, maybe the map will expand to Sioux Falls and even further in the future, or... it’s better to include some Mexican states?

Oh wow.  SCS's ATS teams are going mad with updates!   love it!
:D  I LOVE IT.  Surprised they didn't show any photos of the downtown area.

There are many towns with "Falls" in the name, especially in this part of the country.  There isn't much so when you see a waterfall as a town founder, you throw it in the name. ;D

I was surprised too.  Montana doesn't have many 'cities' and Great Falls is one of them, despite only having around 60,000 people.

The "BIG" Cities in Montana all have less the 50,000 except for Billings which is at 110,000 (2020).
The big places in Montana are as follows based on the outdated 2010 census.... I should have used the 2020 data, but I didn't. ;D  lol

Billings      106,954
Missoula      66,789
Great Falls      58,505
Bozeman      37,280
Butte      34,525
Helena      28,190
Kalispell      19,927

That's it. Everything else is below 10,000.

^ You had mentioned they were working on other states earlier too?  Texas, Montana, California Rework, Nevada Rework, was there more?

Yes.
And I am not at liberty to say which states. But using basic common sense and looking at a map, you can figure it out.
Behind The Scenes at SCS

A very good blog post showing how many materials are made from fictional brands, their logos, companies, and so much more.  Check out this informative blog post full of concept art!

This is just an observation as a European.  The concept artistry is very fun to observe.  I notice the creativity of the American designs for ATS are much more fun, free-willing, and they have more leeway to play with fun designs.  America is known for it's fun and larger than life nature.

The European designs for ETS2 are much more reserved.  Just look at how held back they are with the gas stations or logos.  For Europe, everything is more reserved much like European culture.

It is a little nuance that accurately depicts the reality of marketing in both parts of the world.  I am not saying there can't be reserved designs in America or wild designs in Europe, but I am just pointing it out for this blog post and how they've done their research.  They are doing a good job.

I like that Phoenix gas station design.  Are there any of those currently in the game?  I don't remember seeing them.

I also have to agree with Tusszent's observations.  Ever since around the Washington DLC, they've been going much more in-depth and having fun with new businesses.  They introduced new fast food restaurants, then took a whole new level with the Colorado DLC.  Since then they keep on expanding and making it more realistic.

I have not seen any yet, but it reminds me of the designs on the trains they have in the New Mexico DLC.  The passenger trains have a similar look and design.

I haven't seen Phoenix branded gas stations in the game like those images.

I think if they don't release something on Cinco de Mayo (which they probably don't even know about, lol) they will have a blog post on their usual Thursday. I think we will get an announcement for a release day of a new ATS DLC within two weeks. I really think this week or next.

As they say, what is done in 1.44, is not a final change — so, we will have even more roads around Sacramento in future updates.
Also, there is some speculation about first DLC with licensed trailers, and it will likely be not Wabash or Great Dane, but Lode King — there is some hidden DLC in SCS database named LK.
P.S. Took a peek at Peterbilt official site. Uh-oh .

ATS is going full on crazy mode with the amount of updates and changes going on.  Sacramento's skyline was fairly accurate when they made it, but they took it to a whole new level here!  Looks great! Sacramento is looking good and that tidbit that they will continue to add new content to this rework is astounding!  :)) Also this news, "Finally, the reworked downtown is going to receive a great improvement as well, and it will be really close to a 1:1 scale."  WOW!!!

Like wow!!! So good! Plus the spoiler news is good too.

But there are also two new feature currently in the works by SCS that will go into ATS and ETS2.  They are adaptive cruise control and emergency breaking.  You can even test them out now, they are in the BETA.
