I like Starlight. I just think she's an absolute freaking dumbass and has a shitty backstory that doesn't make sense. Like seriously, Starlight, there's such thing as SENDING A LETTER!

Well, if Sunburst's folks moved and left no forwarding address, Starlight wouldn't be able to find him (although she obviously did track him down sometime during in the interim).

I wonder if this series will ship the two of them.  Perhaps Twilight will have to make a rule about her student/houseguest sneaking in stallions after hours (perhaps after catching the couple in a, er, compromising position, or running into Sunburst in the shower one morning).

Well. She said his family sent him to Canterlot to study magic, so she knew what school he was going to (pretty sure she said Celestia's school). So there was like no reason she shouldn't have been able to.

I wonder if they will ship them... I wouldn't mind him appearing again. But oh god, that scenerio, I'd love to read a fic like that XD especially if scene contains a lap dance *is slapped*.

But hm, I don't know, Spike is a child in this series and the ponies are adults. So that would be a lot more than awkward...

I wish we knew Spike's age.  >_<  It seems to teeter right on the edge.

As for MLP:FiM, I liked the idea of Spike and Starlight gaining a friendship.  But they haven't done much with it at all.

It does seem to fluctuate, but maybe that means he's a teen. Childish moments and semi mature moments.

Yeah, the premiere had them have some really great interactions. I really liked it.

Probably.  I mean he does have an adult magazine or two.  

They really should have continued building Spike and Starlight to be friends.  Spike doesn't always need to just talk to Twibutt.

Since it went nowhere in the show, I hope it goes somewhere in this series at least.   Gives me something to squee over. 

Twi seems more like a lonely horn then Spike... just saying.

I wanna see Starlight get more fleshed out, in both series.  So far we've only seen her sick, and she was mentioned once. Spike clearly has his fears and worries with her.  Though I feel it can be a learning experience for him...unless all his fears come true and she is insane.
