I am really liking this Rainbow Dash story.  I think the message is fantastic so far.  Rainbow Dash failing at something?  Never!  Then it happens.

I wonder if Dash will apologize or Applejack will have fun of making fun of Dash's failure?  I wonder if this story will just end here... I mean... It could.  We can see Dash is ashamed of her actions.  But does her character have the fortitude to actually admit she was a jerk to Applejack and Big Mac?  Can she admit defeat?  Is she capable?!  Dash for the most part has been a self centered, rude, and crude character in this series. I cannot think of a redeeming character trait she has shown.

I don't know if Rainbow Dash can ever admit she is wrong.  But if she does, I think that would be an incredible moment for her character development.  It's just unfortunate she went so out of her way to finally realize this.

Well, Dash did the right thing.  But at the same time, part of me thinks she should try again and get better.  I think they left that opening with the statement at the end where she can get pointers from Big Mac.

It should actually be "inexperienced turd"... unless that's a reference to an actual NASCAR driver's speech. No worries, Dashie-- you may have been a suck-flank driver, but all the big money in driving lies in endorsement deals.  You could have a promising future cutting radio ads for a firm who makes construction equipment.

@NostradamusTheSeer Ward Burton was one of my favs growing up.  I loved his southern drawl.  He was like the only NASCAR driver who fit the stereotype. lol.  Everyone else by that point had degrees in engineering in college and Jeff Gordon was the pretty boy, lol.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. did his best to keep ole' Gordon and new kids from taking over the reigns.  It's also funny that Ward Burton's brother and fellow NASCAR driver, Jeff Burton, has zero drawl and instead talks very fast with a higher pitched voice, lol.

I like how Spike is leaning/sitting on his tail in panel 2.  Starlight plot panel 3.  Also note the Homestar Runner characters in the background under the mirror.  Very nice to see they recognize a great classic series from the 2000s. I don't think they've ever done a 100% legit character cameo before like this.  Interesting.
