There are so many similar 'localized' jokes like this in AT&F.  Unfortunately so much of it goes by the average viewer in North America and especially around the world.  Then they localize the jokes even more to their fictional Pacific Northwest region, which only people in the PNW would understand.  There are layers upon layers of jokes that just for overlooked.

It's such a weird name to have ATF be Tobacco and Firearms, but they also do drug related stuff... But there is also the DEA which also does drug related stuff.  There's lots of overlap.
