Oh no! Not Derring Do! They can't do this! I feel for Rainbow Dash here. This kind of thing is so relatable when some company comes along and milks a franchise of all it's worth. I love the comics involving Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo.

So basically, Derring Do is Lara Croft.  Was she intended as a parody of Lara in the parent series?  Is Dashie echoing the sentiments of actual Tomb Raider fans on the newer games? Will Scootaloo, in a decade or so, be echoing these complaints herself to some young filly when the games get made into a really lame movie or animated series?

Derring Do was more of an adventurer in the ilk of Indiana Jones in my opinion, but yeah, there are aspects of her that is Tomb Raider too.  She raided tombs!! We saw an entire tv episode of her in an ancient tomb! So maybe she is more like Tomb Raider than we think.

Backyard Beach: with that house, I bet she may afford the bigger pool.

We've seen their house occasionally. It is always the same color and shape, but I would love to get a very clear view of it.  It seems their back yard is just a big open lawn for the most part.

They live in a nice neighborhood in Ponyville. Twilight obviously has some money. But she seems to downplay it all the time by being frugal.

I'm imagining seeing the Princess of Friendship just chilling in her yard with Spike in a blow up pool with water-wings and sunglasses. It's such a silly image.
