All the updates to coming will be nice.  It's nice this company keeps doing all this.  I game in constant development makes things fun.

Correct.  It will still be several weeks before they release the official update to everyone.  They need to find and fix bugs.  This is an Open BETA so they can get feedback and help from the community to find issues.

Anyone else a bit concerned by the new bumps implementation coming to this update?  It looks like from what I've seen in videos it's on ALL roads all the time.  I can understand some roads, but bumps shouldn't be on others.  Any thoughts? Will our drives be too bumpy, like bobbing in water?

I think we will be able to adjust this effect in very wide range... if not directly in the game menu, then in *.cfg files.
So, I am not worried than this bobbing will be too hard .
For me, more important thing will be the improved performance of the game engine... which is announced for 1.47.

I was a bit concerned about the bobbing up and down.  I see it in the videos, it isn't a main highlight and I don't see others talking about it.  Hopefully there is  bar slider in the options to move it more or less and hopefully it is dependent on the road.  Freeways and major highways are smooth, dirt roads and gravel roads are bumpy.

The other things that hasn't been highlighted much is the improved game engine!!  The further improvements of the engine allowing it to not stress systems as much.  The videos I've seen show that everyone has had FPS improvements!

Still so many unknowns.  From the videos I've seen on the channel Toast, they were showing the bumpy roads even on supposedly smooth European Motorways.  So it doesn't seem like the bumps discriminate.  They might be everywhere.

AP 101 Gaming did show a nice video comparison of the performance updates.  They showed significant performance improvements to the game, even in the rain, at night.  FPS was dramatically improved as was the amount of resources being used.

I bought a new truck I am testing out specifically for logging and off-road trucking up into the mountains.  It's a timber industry truck!

^ I dig it dude! It looks real good with that industrial style bumper and pushbar.  Would be cool if our trucks could get dirty and muddy.

Has anyone bought the 49X without the longer stretched nose?  Haha.
