You are all very welcome. :)

I also think I know what that good news is coming. ;)  I think we all can figure that out.

Unlike the first edition of the beta, now the developers have finally made the proper icons of Lady Propane and other cargoes for new trailers:

As for updated performance, some people report that it can lead to higher GPU temperature. For now, I see the same 72-75 °C as before, but the framerate is really a bit higher when you are surrounded by a dense traffic.
The uneven road simulation must not cause any motion sickness if the locking camera movement slides are moved into the right end. Even if the truck bobs up and down like crazy, the POV is steady like a chicken head stabilizer ;D.
I am looking forward into the future California update, I hope there will be no more awfully photoshopped people in the oldest part of the map.

Lol!  Lady Propane made me laugh out loud there, Tim. ;D

Also, YES!  We got it!  Lot's of neat things added.  Maybe not the most exciting to most, but its nice to try the adaptive cruise control, emergency brakes, the performance upgrades, and cistern trailers.

I hope there will be no more awfully photoshopped people in the oldest part of the map.

But that is the best part...

From my own experience, the game runs much smoother with less frame rate drops.  I really like it.  It also seems to load faster between menus?  Maybe?

I love how the game now lets you pick a location to start after an update instead of just moving you to a garage.  So this way I can actually start where I was last at instead of moving across the country to my garage. ;D  lol!  I guess you could also use it to freely move across the country too.

I was looking at the silo-cistern trailers and they have lots of options!  Very cool!

Technically, it’s the second new feature you meet with the game update... after «What’s new?» button on the starting page ;D.
Also, the level progress bar is recolored.

Lol!  Lady Propane made me laugh out loud there, Tim. ;D
If more correct, it’s even Sweet Lady Propane ;D.

Also, since this cistern has less flat ends than its European counterpart, it reminds me the boiler of streamlined locomotives from late 30s.

UPD:
Don’t forget to visit the updated German cities! ;D

Those old 30s trains with a rocket-age inspired design were so cool.

I like the new driving log history, but I don't think the new level progress bar looks much better.  The old and the new one look outdated.  Really all the menus in the game look outdated with their 3D design.  Now days everything is flat, simple, modern.

It might just be me, but I my ETS2 is crashing after the update.  I start it, choose a delivery, then it crashes when trying to load into the game.  I've restarted about 6 times now.  Anyone else having issues with the ETS2 update?   I want to see the new German city updates.

I am not having this issue with the ATS update.

I can not say I am having that issue upon start up a few minutes ago.  Try restarting the computer or at the very worst reinstalling the game.  Hopefully it isn't a corrupt save file.  If you have Steam Cloud services on, you should have your save files backed up for the game automatically. Let us know how it goes.

After rewatching this episode recently, I realize just how absurd this whole show can be while being completely calm and natural.

It could be the install had an issue and corrupted during the install.  You can re-install the update via Steam.

Also check for some troubleshooting on the SCS Forums and ETS2 Steam Forums.

Hopefully it isn't a corrupt save file.
Luckily, *TS games have so much autosaves into their folders so it's always possible to load other one, made several minutes or hours earlier.

Ugh, sorry about that Graymist.  I hope you find a solution.  Luckily the game autosaves a lot.

I was just coming on here to report the frame rate increase it noticeable on my computer.  My computer shows it has improved by 12%!!  That's pretty awesome! I then tested in the rain at night and say a 16-18% improvement!  I am very happy!  [excited]  Not to mention all the new additions.  I am trying out the adaptive cruise control and emergency breaking.  I will see how it goes.

For me, the road themselves are the least interesting things on these screenshots ;D. The surroundings have much more new stuff — just look at that photo with blue Scania — just one fence is made from two different concrete types, has brick, wooden and fibrolite sections, plus... metal gates! You need to be very patient for doing that work instead of using one prefab for the whole fence ;D.

Very nice photos for sure.  I like the landscapes and the varying towns from good to not so good.  But variation is the spice of life!
