I THINK I see Modesto being worked on in Hoang's photo for example.

I'm pretty sure that is San Jose because of the light rail line.

Oh!! Good catch!  I think you're right.

Also this update is for a bigger region then I thought.  This is showing Fresno's new redesign.  You can tell is it Fresno because of the skyscraper on the right of the image.  This looks so much better than the original.  This appears to be from the city's north side looking south, especially if using the sun and shadows as guides.

The rework team is essentially making free DLC.  I love what they are doing.

No developer’s faces this time, but more screenshots ;D. Still no info about when the upcoming patch 1.48 will be released, but we see there will be a lot of small updates of German map.

Very nice photos!  The city looks nice.  I love their detailed work on many key buildings.

The second picture in the blog post could make use of some asset dressing.  Maybe have some people or things on the sidewalk.  It looks strangely empty. I like image six of the modern styled waterfront with the Polaris Lines ships. :D Image 9 with some of the older and abandoned warehouses is pretty cool too!  I like that vibe old stuff gives off.

I wonder if the Kiel TV Tower will make it into the remake?  It was noticeable absent in the game's original version.

What? Another ETS post, and so soon? :-0 Anyway, I like these screenshots with detailed cranes and other construction stuff. BTW, I remember I have seen this store before — one and a half year ago in Russian indusries post.

It's all about knowing things as a local would. ;D

A real nice new blog post.  I actually forgot about HoR.  So it's interesting they are using some assets from it so far from the motherland. At least they changed the language!

The posting marathon continues! ;D
I hope we will see all of this really soon. All these announcements tell me that the map updates will be the main part of new patch.

So many updates.  As a more recent convert to ATS, I am really liking the game.  I like it as much or more than ETS2, especially with all the new updates.  I have some things to point out.

Texarkana is a city split between Texas and Arkansas.  Even the name implies that.  I wonder if in this update, we will drive into the Arkansas side of the city as well?  A drive into a state that doesn't even have a DLC yet.

I love the American city skyline.  One of my favourite things is seeing the different cityscapes in the game.  They are very impressive, even more so with the ATS team's extreme attention to detail.

The Dallas skyline is impressive here, but when driving through Dallas in-game currently, it feels so dead.  It stinks that big city is right there, but we only drive around it.  I never feel that immersed in it.  It is impressive to look at.

As for Texarkana, I am not sure how that will work out.

To drive into Arkansas before the AR DLC would be pretty wild.

That happened with the Oregon DLC.  To get to Ontario from Jordan Valley, there was a road that went into Idaho for a short bit before coming back into Oregon.  This was before the Idaho DLC.
