Also overlooked from this blog post was SCS saying they are going remodel AI vehicles!! The banner for Oklahoma has also changed and now includes the new Volvo VNL.

Plus only 5 more blog posts listed on the Oklahoma website.

So... we can expect beta 1.48 in next two weeks, then three weeks of testing, then 1.48 release in mid-July, and Oklahoma DLC release a week later — between July, 16 (Idaho release date) and August, 4 (Montana release date) ;D.

As we can see, German regions are reworked like Northern California — the roads around first (already done several patches ago), the city itself second (announced for 1.48).
I like these brick buildings ;D.

Western Star® 49X Power Hood Update

The Power Hood option is now available for the Western Star® 49X in American Truck Simulator. This addition will take your truck's appearance to the next level, offering a blend of old-school charm and undeniable might, bringing a touch of nostalgia and dominance to your virtual driving experience.

Not really something I will notice or care about... but... it's nice they did it!  I mean this is good because I know Western Star is thrilled and I know SCS is.  Some diehard fans who are really into trucks will probably care about this more too.  So overall, minor to me, but good overall!

So... we can expect beta 1.48 in next two weeks...
Days. Two days ;D.
As we can see, we can try the roads leading to Oklahoma before that state will be added into the game map. The console-using YouTubers have already found some almost ready parts of Oklahoma, as usual for every pre-DLC patch.
Again, the size of new patch is bigger than before, but today’s number is just unbelieveable :-0.

And there are not so much content as in previous patches. A lot of small changes in the game menus — now, the gearbox selection screen doesn’t mock the players who chooses the simple options ;D, also, we can see the percentage of explored area for each state separately.
The car transporter is still not ownable, but they have updated it, and, finally, the cars are held on their places not only by magic:

Plus, there is another model, for pickup trucks.

I don’t trust in announced ABS and ESC systems before the beta test will be completed, but... sometimes when I drive the two-axle trucks I want to have ABS on them, so, it will be a nice upgrade.

Let’s see what ETS 1.48 patch will show us — its beta can be presented even tomorrow ;D.

Oklahoma is coming and it's coming fast!!  Great extra info there, Tim! ^

Also as a compliment to everything, we have this too breaking it down.  Changes in ETS2 and ATS.  Reworked Germany, new Texas content, etc.  I think the addition of seeing he percentage explored by STATE is great!  I hope they can do that by country with ETS2.

I'm going to miss this.  It actually used to make me laugh. ;D

All good info.  ETS2 is presumably tomorrow then?  Just how much Germany rework will release?  What about Switzerland?

For some reason my update for ATS was 14.0GB.

Such a great update! I love all the new content!

500 real miles have been added over 8 different roads, interstates and highways; including one of the most well known interchanges in Texas. Nicknamed the 'High Five', it is one of the first five-level stack interchanges to be built in Dallas.

5 new settlements. Make sure to take time to explore Greenville, Shamrock, Sharman, De Kalb and Paris.

Another big addition to this update is the addition of Texarkana; a unique city that straddles the border between Texas and Arkansas, with the state line running through the center of the city.

New functionality to the Gallery! As you journey and discover the many cities of American Truck Simulator, you'll be able to collect them under the new 'City Intros' tab. Once unlocked, you'll be able to view which cities you have visited, as well as watch and replay any of the city intro cutscenes; which are normally only seen when you first start your first HQ there. \

New expanded cutscenes for the Washington DLC for American Truck Simulator! These special cutscenes appear when a player selects a starting city when creating a new profile. We hope that new players (or those restarting a new profile) will enjoy these new additions, showcasing the area where you have chosen to begin!

New unique delivery contracts between the cities of Laredo & San Antonio in Texas and Laurel & Billings in Montana.

Reworked Vehicle Transport Trailers!

A new UI window which can be accessed by clicking on your map exploration in the top left of the world map. Upon clicking on this, a new window will open showing you a list of the U.S States with their respective flag, and a breakdown of your exploration of each one. We hope that this will aid you in finding those missing roads in our ever-growing world of American Truck Simulator.

New options slider ranges.

Input wizard controls selection redesign.

At first I didn't expect much from this 1.48 update, but there was actually a ton!!!! :D
