SCS really needs to allow for all delivery types of external contracts. I have no idea why they can't do this.

^ That last pic is a very cool looking trailer!!!! Wow!
I noticed this vehicle looks very minimalistic on some darker roads — grey color of the cargo (there are roads with matching pavement color in this game) plus orange color of truck, trailer and warning signs, plus white color of other warning signs, and... that’s it ;D.
Honestly, I would like to be able to put the fully-painted mirrors, bumper and sun visor on 5700XE — most of «plastic» trucks in the game have a set of (almost) chromeless parts, but 5700XE is not one of them ;D.

(the dark metallic paintjobs fit this truck better)
As for recently updated International LT, for me its new grille fits to any truck color and looks better than older one (no matter, chromed or black finish). The shortened 6×4 chassis looks more proportional, but the downside is the reduced fuel tank size — only 140 gallons instead of 140/200.

I really like the 5700XE.  Probably one of my favorite trucks in ATS.

As for the International LT, I actually don't like the honeycomb grille that much.  I thought I would like it more, but I don't.

I really like the 5700XE.  Probably one of my favorite trucks in ATS.
My favourite part is the dashboard with real dials and big numbers (not a commong thing in 2020s ;D).

As a funny observation: I remember that stream before releasing the latest ETS trailer pack, where there were talking about the curtainsider trailer with extendable body length, not long after the demonstrating the red-and-black hexagons paintjob. Hmm... a stretchable trailer with red hexagons texture — when I imagine this combination, that famous Ladybug’s suit instantly comes in my mind [excited]. And of course, the ETS mod with this suit texture as a paintjob exists (well, not a surprise — they have mods with everything, tons of ponies confirm that ;D).

A lot of info consolidated into 8 minutes.  1.52 is coming sooner than we may think.  This is all driving school related info.

The full-scale driving school is a big enough addition to mark this update as a new version ;D. It... makes me think that 1.53 also may come this year, or at least this winter.

UPD:
Looking forward to what we can get tomorrow — there must be a connection between these two announcements:

I have a free slot in my current garage ;D.

Also, here is another walk-around video with recently added truck.

I'm sensing a new Cascadia (already???)  Lol!

Also I enjoyed the Mack Pinnacle walk around.  It was actually in-depth.  In the past they made these too short, but this one was legit! Very cool!

There were a lot of new (or updated) competitors last four years, or maybe Freightliner have collected enough feedback.
Anyway, the silhouette says the exterior changes will not be as radical as it was between DAFs from 2013 and 2021 ;D.
(meanwhile, we still have unfinished Kenworth T680 New, with very limited range of options)

Sooo... we have two generations of older Cascadia (2007 and 2013), and three of new one (2018, 2021 and 2024). Every step of this evolution is pretty minor, which is no wonder if there are so little time between the updates — seems like the next update will be around 2027-2028 ;D.
On today’s stream, there were some explanations about the desicions made in the tuning options list — for example, those 10- and 13-speed Eaton gearboxes are out of service, the sun visors are becoming less legal, and there are no need to make the sideskirts longer than a truck’s sleeper.
The most prominent change is the truck’s bumper and the headlights — the truck’s face now looks even more round than before and the percentage of chrome in the front grille is greatly reduced. Also, there were some changes in small plastic detaiils like the mudguard mounts. The «old» mirrors are not removable yet, so, with cameras and hood mirrors, you can make your truck uhm... mirrored to the teeth!

Obviously, the new truck model shares all internal parts with the previous generation — the fuel tank size is tied to the chassis type, the only change in the interior are electric handbrake buttons (wow, that’s serious! ;D Those two mushroom-shaped handles were used for several decades), also, the side camera mirror display will be installed in the middle of windshield. If not the licensed powertrain options and that liiitle difference in the wheelbase, I think the newer generation parts could be made as a set of tuning options, like it was made with Renault T Evolution, when this update was presented for ETS.
The engine lineup is now smaller, and not every gearbox has an optional retarder, also, say goodbye to vertical exhaust pipes. Finally, we have a new engine sound, different from older Cascadia and both WS models.
So, even if there are fewer options and less powerful top engine, I like the update — the fresh model looks more smooth and must be more efficient. But, if more round and round shape of the new aero trucks is not for you, there still is WS 57X (like my working truck from a previous garage ;D. BTW, look at its bumper — apparently, this shape was tested there before being applied for Cascadia), and... new Kenworth T680, with its own way of looking cool 8).

Ready to go trucking!!!! Can't wait to download the update and try it out. :D

I still prefer the 4th generation styling though.

Don’t forget to check several new adjustable paintjobs for new Cascadia.

As for more sounds of the fresh truck, the air horn now is less train-like, and the blind spot signal is similar to the sound used for bleeping out the bad words in TV shows .

That was unepxtecedly fast!  No one expected 1.52 and the all that already!

So will the next update be an expedited 1.53 at the end of the year?  Or will it be more like a 1.52.5?
