Nice truck, but when doing external contracts, you don't really get the luxury to choose your trailer.  I am getting these massively long trailers and Greece is very unfriendly to them.

Greece has been lovely to explore so far... but wow, I am not skilled enough for a lot of the routes in tight cities and streets.

Just witnessed the scariest dog I've ever seen.  It was menacingly watching me as I was loading up my truck.  I will never go back to that depot in Greece.

Iveco fans, rejoice!

Are they still there, after eleven years since the previous Iveco truck release? In the special stream, the fresh truck was tested in Italy, with comments from Iveco design team members.

Not a big choice of chassis and cabs, but finally we have the Iveco made at 2024 quality level. I like the long list of front grille options — most of trucks have something similar only with the tuning pack installed, while the interior options are not so different from each other. The big dashboard navigator is white now — not just a copy of Route Advisor window. Also, unlike the fresh releases in ATS, the next generation truck has more powerful top engine than the previous one (only 20 HP difference, but it’s still unusual ).
Of course, no special Metallica M72 Tour paintjob today — it’s not a band who gives the licenses so easy.
So, we have recently got a new country to test the new truck. At least, to find some better place for making photos than the dirty backstreet from the garage in Athens .

Wow! An Iveco drop.  According to a recent stream, Pavel said there would be multiple surprises for ETS2 players before Christmas this year.  This is one of them!!

I still have not determined which city is optimal for me to build a base of operations.  The Greek cities are so split up and spread out. I like the depot to be next to a repair garage and service station, as well as depots, but I haven't found a good mix yet.

Have you guys been building garages in Greece yet?

I just took one in Athens. Of course, it’s nice to have the service station as close as in Farmington, but latest ETS maps usualy try to make you explore the cities even if you don’t want it right now .

My nearest garage to Greece is still in Czechia, lol.

My nearest garage to Greece is currently in Austria. Still trying to find the right place.  I need to expand my garage count in eastern Europe, but so few places meet my needs.
