ROAD KINGS has a quick release date trailer.

Take the driver’s seat of a 40-ton semi, delivering goods across the vast and vibrant landscapes of the American South while facing disasters both natural and man-made. In Road Kings, you will build your own trucking empire from the ground up, starting with nothing but a truck, a plan, and a name to make for yourself. Every job completed and every mile driven shapes your reputation: go from a lone rookie to the owner of your own company built job by job, delivery by delivery. Road Kings will be available on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on March 11, 2027.

Meet the Nevada Rework Team

(and some screenshots)
Let’s hope they will continue the tradition of making more new roads (and cities) for every reworked area of the map.

They really didn't show much but I know this team is at least putting effort into this game.

More on the ROAD TRIP Configuration and Purchase Process.

The next video will talk about the jobs we can do with our cars. It will be the last before release.

^ This is probably coming in September sometime. Looks great! This video mentioned Dodge and Ram, so maybe it will be ready to release WITH the expansion? In the past they seem to indicate it would come later.

ROAD KINGS: The Truck Driver Game!

Sounds like ROAD KINGS is a totally unique kind of game and so far big names really enjoy it. Graphics are actually really good.  Very unique system they got here and company building. Worlds are apparently good and realistic too along with detailed damage and mechanics. How contracts work is very unique. We have to remember, this game has a bigger parent company with resources behind them. Squirrel is a well-respected truck driving sim voice and he said he thinks this game is VERY good already and he's very excited. Graphically, gameplay mechanics, he was very impressed.  We might have a second trucking game to enjoy that's different.

If they update the interior for only a couple of trucks every patch, it can take more time than rework of German map ;D. Anyway, I like how they did the metal and soft plastic for WS 49X in the previous patch.

ROAD KINGS: The Truck Driver Game!

I'm going to have to pay more attention to this game. It looks like it will be a totally character-driven experience and the action scenes and weather look amazing. I know some of that is pre-scripted, but seeing that causeway slip into the water was incredibly cool!

I think we are going to need to take it seriously. It's not based purely on simulation, but it already looks like some aspects will be more realistically implemented than SCS.  They also have licensed trucks. Looks like they have Navistar International trucks and Mack. Also interesting they plan to make more states and expand. Squirrel said the map so far looks real good. Also crazy how a clean area can then be altered for a disaster.

I think visually Road Kings looks awesome. Those weather effects are top notch. I'm excited about this game now. Looking forward to hearing about more. They still have a lot of time for development with their March 11, 2027 release date. They got a big company behind them, so if it's successful, I could see this being a good money generator for them.  But they got to play it right. No cheap cash grabs. Truckers are a loyal bunch.

I am curious about their "driver" forward approach. It isn't just the driving, but the personal aspect of things. There was a game that tried that years back but disappeared due to being a not as good ETS2 clone. Road Kings clearly looks like it trying to be different and make its own path.

Also curious about the map. It looks realistically laid out. I wonder what the scale of the world is, and how much area we will get to explore? Reportedly we get two states to start with, Florida and Georgia. The exact opposite of ATS.
