I did watch the Squirrel video about Road Trip and I will definitely say it looks good here. I hope to see more of it.

Revealed in the Nevada rework blog post, one of the lines slipped was they were also working on a Phoenix (possibly Arizona) rework.

From Gamescon we also got this footage of British Columbia from a Youtuber. They also shared Iceland gameplay. Despite the quality, this is the BEST the game has ever looked. There is one view from Iceland along the coast that looks absolutely stunning.

Meanwhile, we have an open beta for ATS 1.61!
I believe that (totally unexpected, by the way) new feature with proximity exploration could be a result of complains from the players who don’t like post-2015 style of map exploration requiring to drive the junction in every possible direction to completely paint it yellow ;D. It should be more prominent in ETS, where we still have maps like UK or Poland with old interchanges which become discovered instantly after you touch them.

Not a surprise, the open beta for ETS 1.61 is also here. Since there are not so much new content, I expect the full release in two weeks.

This is going to be a busy time of year, not to mention the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. ;D I wonder how much overlap there is between virtual truckers and GTA? I would assume a lot. SCS staff has multiple times on streams said they love GTA games. My guess is many will take some time off around Nov 19.

Nice to see some female representation . . . even if all she did was record a screen. ;D

SCS and pretty every gaming studio, if they are smart, will take November off.  Even at Christmas, GTA will dominate the sales. Anyone who releases at that time will see decreased sales because people will prioritize GTA VI.

Then there are people who can afford both. GTA VI will be a day one purchase for me, but I will buy anything SCS is releasing too.

Not a gameplay video yet, but the scenery is nice... and very, very green.
