WORLD OF TRUCKS EVENTS BACK TO NORMAL FOR THE REST OF THIS YEAR . . .

Changes have been postponed for the moment. The changes they wanted to accomplish are not ready for the holiday season. Here are their words below.

Earlier this year, we shared that we would be taking a temporary pause from running our World of Trucks events. We also know how much these events mean to our #BestCommunityEver and that many of you have missed taking part. Today, we are pleased to confirm that we have decided to resume our World of Trucks events in the familiar format you already know, while the wider rework continues.

This means you can once again look forward to coming together for events throughout the months ahead. First up will be Cruising South Dakota, followed by Cruising Iceland and our seasonal Halloween and Christmas events later this year. We will share full details ahead of each event.

Our teams will continue working on the underlying systems and infrastructure that support these events, with the goal of bringing much more of the event experience directly into Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. This includes the improvements we previously described, such as the ability to view and redeem rewards, earn and view achievements, and follow event progress and community milestones directly in-game. It also involves broader behind-the-scenes changes to support the World of Trucks service in the future.

That means the Iceland DLC is coming out before Halloween as well.  I'm not sure if SCS meant for that to be revealed, but that is the only way their schedule can stay put for WOTs and the DLC release schedule.

Oh!!! That is right! Good catch! So South Dakota and Iceland before Halloween!

This was super informative and super happy to hear we have a Freight Market style option that is tied to our WOT account! They found out a way to use their Coaches DLC systems for comfort into this as well! Very impressed and it's much more in-depth than I ever thought they'd make it.

WOAH! So shared truck and delivery account for WOT. Interesting. I assume all our money is in one account. so with my money, I can buy a car right away.

Excellent video. That was really long in explaining how deliveries work and I like it. It seems fairly complex too, which I appreciate. If we they have real cars, might as well add an Amazon delivery driver aspect where we drop packages off at people's homes.

That means we have more than one week to watch the empty highlighted SD on our map. The loading screens with the pictures from that state are already showing in the game... naming the state in «obvious beta» fashion — ats_southdak DLC .

I watched the FULL Ireland video by SCS and it was really neat getting an inside look and a pretty good idea of some of the locations that will be in the game.
